"The hotel grounds are beautiful and well kept. The apartments are comfortable and clean. Owners very friendly and attentive and easy to reach via Whatsapp should you need anything. Supermarket 5 min walk away."

The only thing with the place is that if you don't drive (like me), it's quite far away from everything (which I kind of knew from researching when I booked so that was my choice) There are no buses but if you're driving, I would say it's perfect for a quiet, chilled stay in beautiful surroundings. I would probably still go back just for a few days if I re visit Aruba.

Luftkonditioneringen fungerade dåligt, det hade varit problem om det var varmare under vår vistelse. Det var också en del svartmyror i hallen.

"Very clean and spacious in a quiet neighbourhood. 10 mins to a little beach and 25 mins walk to the old center. Johnny is very welcoming and speaks excellent English and Dutch amongst other languages. He arranged airport transfers and transfers to Cidade Velha which all went smoothly. There is a cafe and few restaurants round the corner and a pretty restaurant by the beach."

Some accesss to food - e.g., breakfast. Food on the island is extremenlty expensive from stores. Some neighbors were noisy.

Möjligen att det låg lite för långt bort från närmsta by, svårt att kunna klura ut det när man beställer. Krävdes bil för att ta sig in till restauranger

The road to the property is a little bumpy

"The apartment was stocked with many basic food items: Bread, butter, margarine, tea, instant coffee, salt, pepper, sugar, juice, milk, coke, and snacks, to the best of my memory. This was essential because we arrived at 3:00 AM and had to be ready for a tour at 6:00 AM. Also, some of that is expensive to buy when you must leave it behind if you are only there a few days. We liked that there was a security guard there and the building and area felt safe. Laundry facilities."

"Lägenheten låg perfekt placerad, centralt i staden och tillräcklig långt ifrån störande nattliv på huvudgatorna. Det var ljust och inbjudande, bra sängar. Rent och snyggt och köket var välutrustat."

Erbjudandet om fri WIFI var en besvikelse. Det fungerade överhuvudtaget inte. Jag påtalade bristen och hoppas att det åtgärdas.

The bedroom was so hot and I couldn't sleep well for the 3 weeks,the air conditioning didn't seem to do it's job but was on

"Enastående villa att tillbringa semester. 15 meter till stranden. Vi hade 2 rums lägenhet som var helt perfekta med ac i varje rum, fullutrustad kök med spis , kyl&frys. Badrummet med tvättmaskin. Wifi perfekt och stor balkong med vy utsikt till havet. Personalen är hur trevliga som helst. Kommer definitivt att återvända till detta kanonfina ställe."

Había leña y otros objetos en lso parqueos que lo hacían mas difícil de utilizar.

No shops within 15 min walk, the only restaurant was closed.

"Hotellet är trevligt med bra rum med liten köksdel. Det gör att man kan fixa lite mat själv utan att alltid behöva gå iväg. Personalen är trevlig och hjälpsam. Hotellet ligger nära buss och tunnelbana, så det är enkelt att resa överallt."

Rummen skulle kunna göras lite mer praktiska och mysiga, så att det verkligen känns som ett "second home". Lite slitet men väldigt rent och fint överallt.

"Everything! The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and go out their way to never say no! Management was very accommodating and visible. The room looked much better than the pictures and was very clean. All the amenities necessary was provided in the room with a bonus plate of chocolates. The bed was comfortable! Overall, the Anne guest house was outstanding! There is honestly not enough space for me to write all the compliments I have for this guest house."

The tv in the room is small and the tv options are limited in the room but it is not something that makes me not want to come back. I will definitely return.
