"The apartment was stocked with many basic food items: Bread, butter, margarine, tea, instant coffee, salt, pepper, sugar, juice, milk, coke, and snacks, to the best of my memory. This was essential because we arrived at 3:00 AM and had to be ready for a tour at 6:00 AM. Also, some of that is expensive to buy when you must leave it behind if you are only there a few days. We liked that there was a security guard there and the building and area felt safe. Laundry facilities."

"The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful with directions to/from the property and allowing me to stay in the bar area until I went to the bus station in the evening."

The room was basic (ie basic bathroom, wardrobe, tv, no desk) and was in the process of being cleaned when I arrived, but then this could be reflected in the 'budget' cost I paid for the accommodation.

"Quiet neighbourhood but not secluded. Close to Blue Bay, very close to Kokomo Beach for great snorkelling early in the day, and the flamingo habitat was always fun to check out. Grocery store was a 5 minute drive away. Many restaurant choices a short drive away. 10-15 mins from downtown Willemstad, with plenty of parking near the Fort. Ed was a wonderful host! And the private pool at the end of a long hot day was a blessing."

Could not find coffee filters for the coffee machine in any store…:)

"The place is neat and well arranged. The attitude of the people was excellent. The atmosphere was very good and the amenities were excellent. Great value for the money place!!!"

"Bra område! Trevlig lägenhet! Trevlig personal! Nära till mataffär, frukost-kafé och spårvagn. Lägenheten var större än vi förväntat oss, det var bara ett rum som innehöll både sovrum och kök men det var gott om plats även för en extra säng förutom dubbelsängen."

Ugnen var obegriplig så den kunde vi inte använda tyvärr. Golvfläkten som fanns i rummet var trasig och blev inte lagad eller utbytt under vår vistelse (trots att vi pratade med personalen om det).

"Location was fabulous, just down the road from the Presidential Palace although the road is a little unkempt. An easy walk into the town for restaurants and the main market centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. Great outside relaxing bar / restaurant."

Taxis do not like to drive to the Hotel as the road is not great and has some big ruts at the town end, leaving you with the choice of a short walk or paying more. It's about a 400 yard walk and not hard or dangerous.

There is also a dining hall and a fully equipped kitchen that we used for a barbecue, plus bathrooms available on the ground floor near the kitchen and dining area.
