"The ambience of the property was second to none. The evening meal was out of this world, made even more fun as the menu was in Dutch. The staff attentive and helpful. Exceptional wines ."

"Lovely converted brewery, very nicely decorated, comfy rooms, free parking. Very clean and welcoming, nice garden and we heard the restaurant is also very good but didn't have a chance to eat there."
"Breakfast was not well organised, only from 8 am to 10 am on a Sunday (would expect it to be until 11 am). We arrived around 9 am and the buffet was almost empty, hardly any bread, no rolls or croissants. The charcuterie took ages to be replenished and it was refilled at the buffet instead of being prepped in the kitchen for a quick exchange from empty to full plate. It was all a bit chaotic - guests were going to the kitchen to ask for eggs. I think the owner was away that weekend, maybe that's why it wasn't up to scratch."

"It's located in a quiet area. The bed was comfy and the capsule coffee machine in the room was nice to have. Free shower gel and conditioner, very nice smell. It has a small parking lot at the back."
"We sent a message to ask for a ground floor room but the staff never replied. When we arrived the receptionist just told us "I saw your message but you booked the last room and it is in the attic" . So, the message was read but no answer was given. My husband has a bad knee and he had to go up with the suitcases. The stairs are metal see-through, not the best for my fear of heights and a hoover was abandoned in the corridor making it a trip hazard. The shower head was broken, so it was a bit of a pain taking a shower with it. We reported it on a booking.com message when we left as there was no receptionist to talk with on check-out. Again, no answer. I hope the next Guest had it fixed. Not the best service for such an expensive hotel."
