Luckily there was some parking available on the street, otherwise we might have a problem. No dedicated parking for the hotel.

"The host, Andrae was super friendly and helpful, I was able to check in a bit late, he also organised an early morning taxi for me to get to the airport. The location is great, right in the middle of Philipsburg and just minutes walk from the beach. You're surrounded by restaurants and shops. Price was excellent."

Room and amenities are simple, but for this price and location you can't complain.

Direkt insyn i rummet från vägen utanför, saknade tunna gardiner att dra för då det saknades lampor i rummet.

"Allt var som det ska, välstädad, god mat och personerna där var sociala och omtänksamma. De var en man och en kvinna som hjälpte till och de hade alltid ett leende på läpparna. Helt enkelt en gästvänlig familj. Donika var en trevlig och glad tjej som hjälpte alltid med något dessutom fick jag en kaka och dricka och kaffe utan extra kostnader."

Located a little bit outside the center of Jose Ignacio, we appreciated the calm of this area Excellent breakfast outside in front of the beautiful swimming pool. "Gorgeous view from the apartment! There's a big window showing the beautiful mountains below. Beautiful interior design throughout!! The host was also very friendly 🌷 Buiilt as a compact studio apartment with a large bed, all beautifully designed. Next door there's a room that serves as a small kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave and capsule coffee machine. Lots of attractions nearby - Nimrod Fortress, Hermon Mountain site and cable car, Tel Dan, Ghajar village and Banias National Park."

Fortunately we travelled with a 4x4 wheel drive car -- a must-have to negotiate the steep roads in the village.

"It's a beautiful property- the room and facilities were great. The dinner was delicious and extremely generous- Rum and wine included as well. Breakfast had some nice continental options and I especially enjoyed the herb tea. The host was wonderful- I don't speak French but was very easy using google translate. She gave great instructions for arrival. She also looked after me as and made sure I got to the start of my hike safely- she asked another couple to drop me at the trail on their way to Marla after she realised I was going to walk up the windy mountain road! If you are getting a bus there is also a stop right outside- although take care to plan as the buses don't run frequently."

"I have visited many hotels and villas and I must say this was the most cleanest place I have ever been! The hoast was very warm and welcoming, the room was very clean and warm. I will deffinitely say that it is well located and very close to the sea."

I liked everything!

"We stayed here in September after walking the Arctic circle trail. We were faster than expected, so we contacted the owner as soon as we arrived in town. He immediatly told us we could stay at the house and came to pick us up in 10min to bring us there. It is a bedroom in his home and he immediately made us feel very welcome. We had space in the fridge, the entire kitchen available and we were allowed to use the washing machine to clean all our stuff. The WiFi was also excellent. The host was very friendly and taught us lots about Greenland, Inuit culture and history and the surrounding area. He also offered to take us on a boat trip to the ghost village (at a much better rate than any other provider). All in all a great place to stay!"

As we were staying in someone's home and not a hotel, the place wasnt absolutely spotless, but it was clean and homey. It might not be to everybody's taste to share a bathroom with a family though.

"Det var så mysigt. Huset är ett vackert patricier hus som kändes så bra och välkomnande att komma in i. Fina, stora rum och fräscha välstädade badrum. Härligt kök som var mycket välutrustat och vår Familj samlades gärna runt matbordet. Vi fixade frukost själva men det var ändå väldigt generöst med olika kaffesorter, teeer, sylt etc.i köket. Och inte att förglömma, det är praktiskt att kunna promenera till Gamla stan! Och slutligen, Wi-Fi funkade utmärkt."

"This was my second time staying here, and I really appreciate how clean and well-maintained the place is. It’s comfortable, decent, and offers great value for money. The staff were polite and helpful, making the stay even better."

There’s no full kitchen available — just a small area with a microwave and an icebox. But considering the cost, it’s still a good deal.

"We traveled on our bicycles and Highland lodge was the perfect stop between Afriski and Mokhontlong. Rooms were very large and so clean. Bed was very large and comfy. Staff was nice, friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend 👌🏼"

We would have enjoyed a desert after our dinner but it was not so important.

"Great location, owner's pleasant personality, cleanliness, the feeling of home away from home,availability of all basic amenities, quietness, size of the accommodation, and the cost, parking on the enclosed compound added to the feeling of safety. As the first customer, the owners had a toast with me. That was great, unexpected, and exceptional. Will recommend it highly. 9/10"

It had everything you need in a guesthouse. However, some reforms need to be made, but the host told me he's working on it

"Modern, clean, self contained with bedrooms having on-suite bathrooms which also provided convenience and privacy. minimalistic though everything you expect from a hotel accommodation/apartment we had , elements from the spa were also included dressing, gowns and slippers, beach towels. The air conditioning throughout the rooms was great keeping us cool when relaxing in such a hot period of the year"

"Paolo is a wonderful host. He's warm and kind. He immediately offered us coffee when we arrived. We felt right at home. The house was clean enough. We also had a nice breakfast. I highly recommend it."
