Keine Handtücher. Toilettenpapier wurde nicht nachgefüllt. Heizung im Zimmer ließ sich nicht zurückdrehen.

"The fales are super nice with ocean view and were clean and well maintained. The family was so great and the food amazing. Bathroom was also ok. Snorkelling was good too, close to the beach you can see many small colorful fish. Another guest even saw a small (harmless if you leave him in peace) reef shark outside at the very edge of the reef. Easy access to eg ocean trench which is worth a visit. It felt like coming home and paradise"

"Modern, clean, self contained with bedrooms having on-suite bathrooms which also provided convenience and privacy. minimalistic though everything you expect from a hotel accommodation/apartment we had , elements from the spa were also included dressing, gowns and slippers, beach towels. The air conditioning throughout the rooms was great keeping us cool when relaxing in such a hot period of the year"

"Easy communication with the owner. The room is relatively small in comparison to the other accommodations, but not a big deal, it's a traditional house. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we definitely recommend for 1-2 nights."

The acces road is quite steep and parking might be challenging. Quite a lot of mosquitos during the night.

Das kleine Badezimmer(chen) ist wirklich sehr klein. Ist aber kein Kritikpunkt, weil es wurde bei der Buchung schon drauf hingewiesen.

"It was an amazing stay as a solo travel. Everything was good. Staff was very helpful despite the fact I couldn't speak their language. I would definitely return from Bukhara and Samarkand and will prefer Revel Hotel to stay again."

"The location was very convenient for walking around town and to local restaurants and the beach."

While advertised as a B&B it is not like the many B&Bs we have visited over the years where you have access to a lounge and receive a full breakfast. The accommodations are really a bedroom and bathroom with a small eating area on the bottom floor of a row house unit. There was a patio outdoors which was nice but overall the space was small and the breakfast was a continental breakfast you made yourself.

"We had the best time of our trip here! Finally some connecting with other travellers during a group dinner. The hosts are super sweet and make you feel like at home. The rooms and beds are superb and the view is incredible. Definitely recommend!"

"Quiet location on Varkala's South Cliff with only 5 minute walk to the beach. We booked a room with outdoor patio and really enjoyed sitting out there in the evenings. The room was really spacious and beautifully decorated. Also loved the outdoor shower! The highlight is definitely the swimming pool, which can be enjoyed at all times of the day thanks to the shade from the trees. The landscaping has been so well thought out. It truly felt like a little bit of luxury staying here and we loved it!"

My only complaint is about the bed… it was hanging in the middle and was really noise. Needs a new bed.

There was a group that arrived without booking and there was not enough food, so the host had to go shopping and the dinner was late. There was enough food for everyone but not much variety for warm dishes, comparing with other guesthouses on the trail. The guesthouse is located off the main trail and the trail is a bit tricky.

"The host was very kind. The property was very cleaned. I had to leave super early to the airport, the owner got up so early to prepare food for me to eat on the way to the airport. He was super kind."

It is a bit out of the town but ok if you have a car. If there are many guests you will have to queue to use the shower room and toilet as it is a shared Barth room property.

"Köket, kylen, frysen. Läget. Vi lagade mat när vi kom fram och även frukost. Bra sängar och stora rum. Ingen kontakt med personal, men det behövdes inte. Smidigt med koder till dörren, lås. Ostört från väg och grannar."

Direkt insyn i rummet från vägen utanför, saknade tunna gardiner att dra för då det saknades lampor i rummet.

"Location was great. And nothing beats the local dishes for breakfast. The convience of the washer and dryer right in the apartment was awesome!! I think the gated area added to the security of the apartment, and so you feel safe staying there."

I think some basic essentials would be nice, like salt, pepper, and oil to cook with:-)

"The owner, Margie, sent comprehensive details for entry to the property and made us very welcome on arrival. Good room (4), lovely breakfast, friendly staff, communal rooms to sit in and all you need for the beach provided. The beach, restaurants and a supermarket all within walking distance."

"Un peu difficile d'accès, c'est la campagne, mais vu que le propriétaire est venu nous chercher à l'aéroport il n'y a pas eu de problème. Au contraire nous étions très bien et au calme."

"Steve & Geri are terrific hosts, and the kind of people you want to meet when you’re travelling. They were very welcoming and accommodating, and fun to talk to. The B&B location is both convenient for arrivals, and well-placed for a walk along the southern coast beaches. The decor of the room is also well-suited to provide character. Enjoyed the breakfast."
