"Tropical paradise. The resort is accessible only by boat and up against a national park with lots of lemurs. We were there for five days, four nights in a beachfront bungalow with private facilities. Sun lounges under coconut palms. Local seafood at the restaurant. Hardly any other guests. Affordable for budget travelers."

"My stay at Para un poquito was wonderful, the hosts Flor and Joel are very welcoming, nice and helpful in any situation, they know and love the place. The situation right on the beach is idyllic, you literally go out of your room and are on the beach. I'd definitely recommend this place."

"Staff was amazing. Rachel went above and beyond any call of duty to have us met from a late bus, organised a park trip and had us dropped in morrogoro. Nesto made sure we were safe in the campground. Breakfast was great, more like brunch.Highly recommend the camping but for the bravehearted...loved sitting around the campfire in the early hours of the morning, listening to the sound of silence and occasionalanimal call, watching the moon sail across the sky from the net window of the tent... the sister hotel nearby has lovely rooms, at a very reasonable rate."

"the slecuded. quiet peaceful grounds, the air circulation of sleeping in the tent, air flow thru mesh mosquito mesh, out side enclosed bathroom facilities,the yoga barn and good selection of books to to read in comfy arm chairs very nice plunger coffee with plunger ,over all a very pleasant 5 nights spent at this echo retreat"

maybe fresh seasonal fruit platter for breakfast as some photos show on their website, but, the muesli and little fruit, apple juice and coconut milk was very adequate

"Leuke locatie, makkelijk te vinden, goede verbinding met de uitstappen die we wilden doen. Onthaal was zeer goed, duidelijke uitleg, vriendelijk. Uitchecken ook vlotjes verlopen. Op de camping zelf was het zeer rustig, parking aan de lodgetent was zeker een meerwaarde! Lodgetent op zich was zeer proper, ruim, bedlinnen roken erg fris, dus zeer aangenaam. Prijs kwaliteit zeker een aanrader! We hebben er van genoten en gaan in de toekomst zeker nog eens beroep doen van deze accomodatie"

Locatie van de lodgetent was dicht tegen de straatkant waaraan ook een parking gelegen was. Dit zorgde wel voor wat lawaai aangezien er ook veel verkeer was in de nacht. We konden dit gelukkig wel weg filteren :)

The proximity and the 180-degree view of the sea, the unmatched decor items, fairy lights and stellar interior planning, the very small-but-important facility and comfort details that have been considered, the quaint and romantic area around the dome, the considerate and responsive hosts all come together to make this a true gem here in Latvia. It feels like the place is kept beautiful and tidy out of genuine care for the wellbeing and pleasure of the guests. The hot tub costs extra, but a hot tub with a direct view of the sea is another rarirty here that is well worth the money. Absolutely recommended without hesitation, and I wish the hosts the endurance to keep this up, as we will 100% be looking to come back to this corner of paradise!"

To be nitpicky, the tap water seems to have high iron content, hence some water discoloration and odor. Nevertheless, there is extra drinkable water provided so this is not an issue really.

The staff was super nice, they organized a transfer from Lompoul sur Mer to the location, they came with us to the beach and played football together with mbalax, then they came with us to the nearby desert and helped us organize a cab to Dakar airport. The food was also really good. Overall it has been an excellent stay!"
