The Hotel Krafft Basel and restaurant can be found in the heart of the city, right on the bank of the Rhine river with its Mediterranean-style promenade. You will get the mobility ticket for free use of all public transport in town during your stay. The Krafft is a classical building with a famous past. For example Hermann Hesse used to stay here writing most of its well-known novel “Der Steppenwolf”. Your hotel booking confirmation is also the ticket for the public transfer from the airport or train station to the hotel. Hotel guests are entitled to a 25% discount at the Rebgasse public car park.

"Personalen. Hotellet. Frukostbuffe'n. Lunchen. Läget helt underbart på flodsidan och mysigt på den lilla gatan, där huvudentren var. Väldigt nöra till spårvagnarna (2 min promenad).Mysiga duschprodukter som fanns att använda Personalen supervänlig, tillmötesgående och tålmodiga. Extra plus till dom."
"Rummet var litet och blev snabbt dålig luft.kunde öppna fönster, men mycket brus från uterestauranggästerna. Duschen var väldigt ren och fin, men någon överviktig person kommer inte in i duschen."

"Friendly staff, clean room, central location, but very quiet at night. No coffee, tea and water in the room, but readily available on the floor. Convenient check-out at 12!"
"Maybe a coffee machine in the room would make the whole experience perfect. But the availability on the floor is covering for this. The floors are a bit creaky, but they give a certain charm to the rooms. Once just has to take the shoes off in the room!"

"Great property - well laid out room (no fridge). Extremely comfortable and modern. Excellent view of the river. Tram was a 2 minute walk. We ate at the outdoor restaurant on one evening g and the food was excellent and service outstanding."
