Chalets i Uganda

"Amazing location, beautiful garden and terrace. Serene setting. Huge fridge, plenty of utensils to cook a meal. Very spacious. Friendly staff who helped me carry my heavy travelling backpack."

Only two towels, which appeared quite stained. Could do with some wine glasses. Maybe a deeper clean of walls and floors, but still felt clean, just not spotless.

"Nice and cozy log cabins, good location, quiet and clean. Shower drain clogged - reception staff immediately came and fixed. Transport to the slopes on time, fast and comfortable. Restaurant amazing food, service was a bit slow but no rush in holiday isn’t it ? Good pricing too. ( half price or even more comparing to a meal at a proper restaurant in uk - not Weatherspoons ) Cheaper than Romania comparing to what resort has to offer in Borovets than Poiana Brasov."

Heating was difficult to set in the upstairs bedroom - either too hot either cold. Would love to see some attention to the small details and some improvements with the heating.

I was not impressed with the fact that I was asked to pay additional fees charged by the host on checking my booking these fees were not added to my original booking at the time of booking the property. The host explained that these are the fees chargred by booking.com to her which I suspect is passed on.

"I liked everything about the property. It felt like a peaceful oasis away from the hectic life of the local area. The villas are well equipped for cooking which I managed to do quite happily. All the staff were particularly helpful, professional and pleasant in their approach. I have to mention Miss Erika, the property administrator who couldn’t do enough to make me feel welcomed and comfortable. Also, Maria would clean and tidy my villa so well, which always made my surroundings so pleasant. Even Digno, the security guy, was very helpful and carried my suitcases when I left. I was very happy with the price I paid to stay in this property."

"La cabane est de très bonne qualité, spacieuse avec un pont qui donne sur une petite terrasse. Un salon est également à disposition sous la cabane avec un bbq. La cabane est très bien agencée avec ce qu’il faut, notamment un grand frigo, de la vaisselle et de quoi faire la cuisine. L’endroit est très bien situé au calme entre Bouillante et Deshaies. A 50m de la maison cacao et duke plage de galet. Les plages de sable sont entre 7 et 15mn en voiture. L’endroit parfait pour se dépayser. Liliane est une personne formidable qui conseille volontiers et est à dispositions en cas de besoin. Nous avons adorés ce séjour."

"I absolutely loved the place! I came together with my friend with intention to relax and chill. The place was super cozy, relaxing and in a lovely calm area. When we came in november, there were still some wedding decoration left on the staircase (from the owners sons wedding the month before), and as a future bride myself I felt enchanted! I definitely recommend this place either for a lovely ladies night, or a romantic getaway, or a fun holiday with a bunch or friends. Greetings from Joanna and Monika"

"Wonderful little getaway, greeted by the most charming host and beautiful, peaceful, tranquil surroundings. Saw the sunrise with coffee and breakfast on the private terrace/decking area. A must if you are in the area."

Everything was perfect.

"This was such a beautiful stay! Everything is very clean and spacious, we loved the big shower in the bathroom and the overall design of this place :) Breakfast was also so nice and abundant! There's also a common area with kitchen if you need to + board games, very cosy especially if you're not so lucky with the weather like us. The pool seemed really nice but unfortunately we couldn't use it because it was too windy and cloudy when we were there."

"Die Unterkunft war sehr gut gelegen und erreichbar. Parkmöglichkeiten waren ebenfalls in direkter Nähe. Die Ferienwohnung war gut ausgestattet und haben uns sehr willkommen und wohlgefühlt 🙂. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen 🥰🥰🥰"

Das einzige was es zu bemängeln gab, das keine Handtücher vorhanden waren. Es gab kein Hinweis das diese nicht mit inbegriffen ist bzw diese gegen Aufpreis erhältlich sind. Leider war es auch etwas staubig und einiges an vorhandene Geschirr sehr klebrig. Dafür gibt's es aber Hände was somit schnell behoben werden könnte. Das ist aber Kritisieren auf hohem Niveau......Wie gesagt es sind wirklich nur Kleinigkeiten. Dennoch würde diese Unterkunft jeden empfehlen.👍🙂

A szárító tiszta rozsda volt, nem tudtam, vagyis nem akartam arra kiteregetni. Egyetlen éles kést sem találtunk, amivel a pékárut elvághattuk volna. A konyhai/nappali rész tele volt szúnyogokkal kora este, amikor megérkeztünk, így, aludni ott nem tudtunk (de az alvás a régi hűtő folyamatosan búgó hangjától is lehetetlen lett volna.) Úgy gondolom, hogy az apartman árához képest ezek olyan apró dolgok, amikre lehetne figyelni.

"The beds are extremely comfortable, the check in super easy, the cottage is super cozy, warm and has everything you need for cooking. The location is great, in a secluded spot, absolutely peaceful. We love the dogs, it was a bonus be able to pet and play with them."

Due to my carelessness, I thought the Smyrr cottage had a shower (the photos only show a sink and toilet, but I assumed the shower just wasn't in the photo), so if you're staying longer, you might want to take that into consideration.

"Mooi en fijn gezellig huisje. Fijne locatie. Heel vriendelijke mensen. Ook fijn dat ze vragen of alles naar wens was, zeer gastvriendelijk. Heel mooie omgeving. Alles bij de hand, bakker, supermarkt, restaurant We hebben genoten."

"We had no one around, we could go to the beach, come back relax to the property, the kids was able to refresh themselves in the private pool, it was perfect!"

Since it was in the mountain there was more ants / mosquitos, but the host had all the equipment needed for us to have an enjoyable stay!

"Utomhusmiljön var underbar och värdinnan Lise gav mycket bra information och bemötande. Skön säng. Vi blev bjudna på en trevlig barbecue, väldigt generöst. Bra utgångspunkt för utflykter på södra delen av ön."

AC’n sprutade luften rakt ner i sängen så den gick inte att ha på när man skulle sova. Strömmen gick flera gånger. Knappt något varmt vatten i duschen. Lite dåligt med redskap i köket, vi saknade bland annat en stekspade och vinöppnare.

"We loved this place - set out in the middle of the rain forest with little other than toucans, howler monkeys, bats and agouti for company. I admit that if you are looking for a bland, all inclusive resort - La Ceiba may not be for you. But if you you want to sleep in the rainforest then this place is beyond perfect. There's a decent track about 400m long from where you park to the accommodation. It is lit at night - watch out for snakes and you'll definitely see frogs."

Just a suggestion - you should promote the work of the Jaguar Rescue Center more. We stayed here partly because the money is used to help wildlife - but many people may not make that connection and so may not go and visit the JRC

"Un lugar encantador bien ubicado en Alto Jaramillo, tiene una vista espectacular a toda la ciudad de Boquete y Volcán Barú fue impresionante para mis niñas ver salir el arco iris justo del jardín de las cabañas. Las instalaciones del lugar muy buenas y limpio; el restaurante muy rico y el personal muy amable y complaciente te hacen sentir como en casa! Para llegar al lugar la carretera en buen estado y cerca del pueblo de Boquete!"
