"Philippe och hans son var helt fantastiskt vänliga och hjälpsamma och boendet kändes mycket tryggt. Vi bodde bara en natt, då vi kom från flygplatsen sent och skulle köra vidare dagen efter, men återvänder mer än gärna till Philippe i framtiden! Rummet var stort och med eget badrum med dusch, allt du behöver! Vi är så tacksamma för all hjälp vi fick!"

"We enjoyed our stay at Philippe and stayed here even twice on our Trip in Costa Rica. The appartment is very comfortable, clean and tje outdoor Kitchen with little garden and pool are perfect. Philippe and his son are very nice hosts. Our sons got a Ball given and keep it still. Thank you we will come back."

"We had an amazing time in San Juanillo. The beach is within walking distance. Had a flat tyre, staff immediatly helped us to get it fixed. Everyone was superfriendly. We also appreciated the flexibility because we needed to delay our vacavions, was no problem! Pool is very chilled and clean."

"Our 3-night stay at the only one basic but tasteful cabin of EYA Ecolodge felt like a real privilege. This ‘off the beaten track’ location gave us a real authentic Costa Rican experience. After the challenge of the unpaved mountain access road (try to be there before dark!), we found ourselves in a tranquil large farm garden with very diverse flowers, trees, crops and birds alike. Run by a very friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable family of three, this place is a secret heaven for lovers of nature and birds. Every meal (breakfast/dinner) was a prepared by Yuri with love and creativity and was a surprise feast for the eye and stomach. Esteban’s knowledge of the local bird species and his crops (mainly cocoa, coffee), gave an extra dimension to our visit. The conversations with the whole family, including daughter Abby, are unforgettable. As a bird photographer myself, I highly recommend this hidden gem to all birders."
