"The room had a beautiful and unique Cape Verdean-style decoration that gave it a special charm. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The bed was super comfortable, and the room was spacious and clean! They also have good music downstairs at the bar for those who want to enjoy the vibe 🍸"

"The decor and concept were outstanding. I couldn’t stop looking at it all. Generous provision of water and coffee. Good welcome, with a welcome drink. Breakfast was fab. I just wish we could have stayed longer. They do warn you about the music from the bar and you do have to be aware of that."

"Ocean it's a lovely happy place to stay for a few days in the centre of Santa Maria. And the staff are very lovely and welcoming always have warm friendly smiles.xx😊 Thank you to the staff during breakfast mainly the guy making my coffee sorry forgot the names. William thnx for teaching me dance Samba and the guy for the cocktails 🍸 they were lovely."

"The food sometimes it's hit and miss when it's busy .l had a very salty pasta dish which l didn't eat .But one of the guys was so understanding when l told him l was still hungry and made me a sandwich. Which l thought it was a lovely gesture. I had a bit of a misunderstanding with another bottle if wine which was in my room which l had brought from outside and they wanted to charge me for it.But it took a lot of explaining and was later resolved. But l must say all the staff were very lovely. Thank you for making my stay lovely😊"
