"We had a wonderfull holiday. The house with pool and garden was perfect for us, a family with 3 kids. The kids enjoyed the pool a lot. Virgine is a very kind and caring host who did everything to ensure that we are comfortable. The beach in Saint Aygulf, which is a few minutes away with the car was great. Many thanks Virgine !"

"Virginie a été super accueillante et nous a conseillé pleins d’endroits. Le logement est encore mieux qu’en photo et l’emplacement est parfait. Près du centre ville de Frejus, de St Raphaël et de la plage mais totalement au calme. La literie est top, nous avons très bien dormi. Très bon rapport qualité prix, nous recommandons +++ et reviendrons une fois prochaine :-)"

"The host supplied us with an evening meal as well as breakfast ( v reasonable cost). She was exceptionally welcoming and friendly, despite our v poor French and we enjoyed a convivial dinner together. The bathroom was quite quirky and had everything you could wish for in terms of facilities. We parked inside her own integral garage just around the corner, foc."

"What a lovely cottage by the river. Iulia and Alastair have spent time to make such a lovely property and wonderful experience. They have thought of everything from an amazing bathroom with relaxing standalone bath, a cozy lounge with log burner to well stocked kitchen. The cottage is wonderfully eclectic with bedrooms on different levels that just add to the attraction. Iulia and Alastair were lovely hosts on site - they introduced us to their really friendly dog, Filou and a donkey, Rio (hand reared and incredibly friendly). We managed to go skiing at Cauterets which was great and reasonably close. We day tripped to the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao which is worth the trip. Maison de la Riviere is well positioned for peace & tranquility on site with accessibility for the mountains and the sea....and we ate on the terrace in the sunshine (in February!). Huge thank you to Iulia and Alastair."
