"The property was great. While the pictures are accurate, they don’t justify the property. There is a bus stop directly outside the property which served the bus service to La Rochelle and the free Navarre service."

"Although the property is on the main thoroughfare, you can park to unload and the designated parking space for the apartment is a short walk away. Another can be made available for a cost. Worth it! We liked the family friendliness of the flat. And being able to leave the buggy securely in the hallway downstairs. Our four year old loved everything and the baby appreciated all the equipment . Kitchen superbly equipped…..a few larger wine glasses would have been appreciated! ( or is that just a Brits on holiday thing?) It was warm, comfortable and surprisingly quiet.Used local buses and the train. Car stayed parked!"

"Très bon séjour dans le Donjon avec ma compagne. Le lieu est unique, la déco du donjon est très bien travaillée, les pièces de jeu sont très bien équipées et la chambre et le matériel était propre. Julien nous a accueillis comme si on se connaissait déjà, simple, disponible, vraiment attentionné. On repart avec une très bonne impression et l’envie de revenir explorer !"

"Lovely cabin-like rooms with kitchen and outside patios, large rooms and bathrooms, plenty of patio chairs. Beautiful garden and private parking in forested area right outside Nantes, close to the périphérique (easy 15-minute drivea to airport and to downtown) but calm and quiet, perfect for a few nights stay. Great A/C, unusual in the area but needed in the heat waves of our changing climate! The hostess lives next door, so easily available if needed."
