Le Couvent

"Ett fantastiskt ställe så estetiskt Vackra gamla möbler som sparats och nu prydde korridorer och rum . Vi fick ett underbart gammalt renoverat rum med en mycket vacker inredning. Trädgården var så magnifik, klosterlik med sina träd och växter. Hela atmosfären var harmonisk och vilsam. En vacker pool fanns också direkt utanför vårt fönster samt en väl tilltagen terrass med sköna vilstolar. Frukosten mycket god med hemlagade marmelader och en utsökt fruktsallad varje morgon. Nybakade croissanter och gott bröd. Ja, vi njöt från första dagen av de tre som vi stannade och kan verkligen rekommendera detta hotell."

"Very convenient location and in a beautiful, historic building which was once a convent. Friendly staff and nice continental breakfast (payable extra, at €12 pp) Pretty garden and a couple of nice sun terraces. Our studio apartment was on the second floor and was just right for our needs, with a couple of gas hobs and a microwave and fridge, plus a small rooftop terrace. There's also a cosy sitting room available for simply reading and relaxing if required."

"Was difficult to make contact in order to book breakfast and the host was slow to respond, or on one occasion did not respond. The cleaner only replaces towels and toilet rolls when they attend the room and this is infrequent, but perfectly acceptable. However, on one occasion, no tea towels were provided so I had to look for them in a small laundry room which happened to be unlocked. But none of this was a major problem and we really enjoyed our stay - this is merely offered as constructive feedback."

"This was a nicely restored convent which has retained the authentic character of the original building as it was when the nuns lived there . It was so much nicer than staying in a generic hotel . The room was huge and had a lovely breakfast in the morning . The only negative was the coffee . It was awful."
