"We stayed here for the first time on our way out to Italy, wanting something a bit different. There was a distinct ‘alpine’ feel to the pretty village and the hotel. It is a small place with only a few rooms, but a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. The room was fine with everything one needed and a good en-suite. Parking was not private to the hotel, but there were some spaces both in front and behind the building. The evening meal was exceptional! Really good! We had eaten at a Michelin restaurant earlier in our trip and this was so much better. Breakfast was fine. The location is a difficult one to rate. The village was lovely. It is just short of the Mont Blanc tunnel so convenient as a stop over. However you have to want to go there. The drive up to the village and back down was not something I would like to do in the dark."
