"Nice, cozy apartment not far from the sea and also from the train station, which made travels to other villages and towns easy to access. Nice to have the comfort of your own home, with cuttlery, dishes, cooking facilities. Especially appreciated the small balcony. Very helpful and open landlord."

"The host was really nice and welcoming and spoke good enough English to have a good conversation. We arrived in le Portel for 3pm and was allowed to check in for 5pm. The beachfront on the doorstep was an excellent way to pass the couple of hours. The 2 days we spent here was very comfy and relaxing for which we then began our journey to Brittany (excellent for a stop over location). The host was really accommodating of our small dog Gracie too which was lovely."

"The property was clean, and felt private, despite there being other accommodation on the gite. The pool facility and outdoor activities are excellent and the location, close to a lake is idyllic. The rooms are well maintained and the property has everything a family needs for a nice relaxing stay. The hosts were excellent, very friendly and helpful. The house is on the outskirts of a small village which has a few small restaurants and bars, and where you grab a few essentials. The location is extremely peaceful."
