Messinian Bay

"Fantastisk läge. Trevlig personal, men inte alla. Privat strand och solstolar . Hotellet har sina brister, en typ av varm smörgås som skulle äta på kvällen var kallt. Frukosten var en stor besvikelse. En sådan hotell skulle ha lite mer val till frukost. Inte samma varje dag. Ex. Kokta ägg var kalla och hårda. Finns inte annat val. Tredje dagen blev frukosten tråkig och ännu värre är att kommer man lite senare till frukosten finns bara rester av maten, ingen påfyllning och ingen frukt. I denna delen av Europa, ( Grekland -Medelhavet ) har de bara att servera vattenmelon och galiamelon ??? Och sist , dagen vi lämnar hotellet vid utcheckning var den äldre personen vid receptionen mycket otrevligt. Det var tydligt att han var irriterad, han skulle göra något annat, han bara slår på terminalen jag skulle blippa betalkortet och sen fungerade inte skrivaren som han vill och i slutet när skrevs ut pappret han bara slängde den mot oss. Ingen tack eller hej då. Oacceptabelt beteende."

"Gratis parkering, trevlig personal, mycket gott frukost, pool bar, stranden presis vid hotellet, alla rum har havet utsikt, köket är öppet från 11.00 till 23.00, vardaglig rum städning, utmärkt wifi och många restauranger, beach barer presis bredvid hotellet. Bensinmack och däck reparation 20m bort."

"We got a late deal, booked on the day we arrived. It's a large, well run hotel with great views across the bay, a nice swimming pool, easy parking, great staff and a really great breakfast. Easy to find by car."

"We enjoyed our stay here very much. Pool and beach area are beautiful and had to drag ourselves away to visit the classical sites. Great location too, easy access to so many sites, roads fairly clear in September and the hotel being just outside Kalamata we didn’t have to navigate city centre. Probably need a car if staying more than a couple of days, there’s nothing within walking distance but there is an ample car park and a restaurant on site. Messinian staff were friendly and helpful, especially Christoff in the restaurant. All areas immaculate and the room was spacious with splendid views out to sea from the balcony."

"Overall excellent but the shower was small and the room a bit spartan, we could have done with drawers to unpack our clothes and a chair – there was plenty of room."

"This hotel has a stunning beach front location. The beach has pebbles, so beach shoes are a must, but it makes the sea really clear, and I was lucky enough to see a loggerhead turtle, which nest in the area, on one morning."

"Restaurant options are limited. Hotel restaurant wasn't used by anyone. One restaurant next door, not bad but grumpy staff. Other options about a 15 minute walk. Why can't hotels provide fresh orange juice at breakfast when there's oranges for sale everywhere?"

"Nice room with a wonderfully large bed. I think the hotel has been recently renovated, because the paintwork still looks great. There's a generous breakfast. From the balcony, you can see the entire bay."

"The only downside is the shower. It didn't give much water, and in the morning, it didn't get hot."
