"We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful place in Speyside. The views were absolutely stunning, and the gardens, along with the surrounding wildlife, made it even more special. No communal areas. The kitchen was tiny and no where sit and eat. There is a small space in the top floor to make a cup of tea but not suitable to eat and not near the kitchen. The shared bathroom shower is too complicated, the water sprays out of all the taps and was cold

"Well kept clean house. The owner tried really hard to reach Western standard of living (limited by being in the Solomons of course). Solar hot water, large fridge/freezer of 300L plus. 24 hour electricity. No aircon but the house is extremely well ventilated. Open plan big kitchen, 4 burner gas hob, huge lounge with modern couches. 2 rooms + 1 bathroom on each side of the lounge, so totally 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms. Rooms are spacious, clean. Hot water shower! I wish I could share photos but booking.com doesn't have upload button."

1. The cost is per person, not per room, but somehow not clearly displayed on booking.com. 2. This is an isolated house on the water edge, private and peaceful, but 40min walking through muddy path to get to seghe town/Airport although a boat transfer is only 5min. You need to bring all your food in and cook during your stay. 3. You need to enquire about the boat transfer cost, to be clear what trips are included, and what are not, otherwise you will have surprise bill in the end. 4. The water pump stopped during my 2 showers, someone needed to run downstairs to restart the pump so I could finish my showers. 5. There is no mirror in the entire house, and no towel rails in either bathroom. Maybe the owner can install them?

Trafiken på den kraftigt trafikerade stora gatan när man satt på altanen men vissa av sällskapet upplevde det inte som störande.
