"Most charming accomodation in Prishtina. The lovely elderly couple maintaining the room(s) is heartwarmingly welcoming. The room(s), I've been staying in the one facing the street, are well lit and comfortable even for a longer stay, offering privacy and leaving room for some exchange with the owners as well. If I'd come back to Prishtina, I'd be staying here again! Thanks a lot!"

"On arrival we were met at the door by a chap called Wim who was extremely friendly and helpful. He also provided some awesome tips and information for visiting Brugge. The hotel is located only a 2 minute walk from the central square and I highly recommend this tiny little gem of a hotel to anyone thinking of visiting Brugge."

"We enjoyed our stay at Tequila Sunrise. Timmi, the owner, is quite friendly and helpful. Her house is colorful and stands out in the neighborhood. The room seems very new. It is spotlessly clean, large, and includes a complete kitchen. It has all the appliances you could possibly use. There is a very large bottle of drinking water so you will never be thirsty. The air conditioning is strong and the TV has many channels. I would recommend this this lodging to anyone staying in Antigua."

"Detta var ett genuint boende där man fick uppleva ett litet familjeägt hotell med otroligt gullig och trevlig personal. Poolen var lagom varm och fräsch. Frukosten var jättegod. 4 rätters middag som också var god. Det ligger lite mitt i ingenstans, bland lokalbefolkningen, men det gjorde upplevelsen mer genuin. Det var väldigt nära med bilen ner till fantastiska Belle mare eller long beach. Den omtänksamma personalen var bland det bästa med boendet. Rummen var rena och fräscha."

Läget är lite mitt i ingenstans men det vägdes upp av den omtänksamma familjen som äger detta hotell.

"My stay at this guest house was absolutely fantastic! The host was excellent, very kind, and provided a lot of detailed advice before my trip, which was incredibly helpful. Staying in a whole house was great! The location allowed me to spend very quiet and comfortable nights. It was conveniently situated close to the coastal road and within easy walking distance. "A quiet place to spend two or three days of relaxation. The staff is very kind and ready to help you with any problem. Breakfast and dinner well cooked, tasty but in a small quantity and not very diverse. The reef in front of the location is not very beautiful, but there are sharks and you can do diving and snorkel tours."

"Stora fina rum. Bra sängar. Bra frukost. Bra mat. Både frukost och menyn lite annorlunda med visa mindre inslag av der kinesiska köket. Det här tillfället var ägarfamiljen bortrest men jag har tidigare mött de rrevliga ägarna vid flera tillfällen. De gör allt för att göra gästen nöjd. Hjälpsamheten och vänligheten är enastående. Munthalis med personal gör vistelsen på Main Stream Beach Villa till ett minne för livet. Recommender varmt."

"Everything!! It was so well equipped; fabulous quiet air con, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen to prepare a 3 course meal. The swimming pool was heavenly and plenty of sunbeds and chairs. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the hosts were super friendly and helpful, always on hand or available on Whatsapp."

The only very slight negative was the hill to the property. We took it very slowly (we're getting on a bit!) but it still only took about 6 or 7 minutes. So not too much of a problem.

"Elvis and Claudia are wonderful hosts. Helping you out with their local knowledge, lifts to different places in Georgetown and advice on what to do. The rooms come with a very quiet AC and a comfortable bed. The area is safe and a local store is less than 5 minutes walk away. The rooms were spotless and the breakfast of scrambled eggs with toast was just what I wanted. While they advertised a check-in and out time they are very flexible. Free Tea and coffee was supplied in the dining room."

Remember to bring PG Tips 😉.

"After being welcomed at the jetty we received a wet towel, tasty sandwiches and a refreshing drink. The staff was super friendly and we also liked the island, the room and the breakfast. We got water every day and beach towels."

The shower is open, so the bathroom gets wet every time you shower.

"Felex, Asinja and the kids were so welcoming! They cook delicious food with local produce. Felex is always up for a chat and coordinating a wonderful community project in the village. It’s a simple room but basic amenities, but a truly unique experience."

"Mohammad and Heba are great hosts! Communication in English is easy, and Heba provides most delicious traditional palestinian and jordanian food at dinner. Being on a hike without car, I strongly depended on their perfect organiziation of transfers. Sections of the Jordan Trail, and the holy mountain Tell Mar Elias are nearby and beautifully covered by flowers in spring. The guesthouse is conveniently located between the Ajloun Forest Reserve which is in hiking distance, and the old city of Ajloun with its magnificent castle. I had initially intended a short visit here, and finally stayed almost a week."

"It's not just "a hotel", it an immersive experience of Armenian hospitality in a beautiful, very neatly kept private home. You are a personal guest of a beautiful family, the breakfast is served every morning on a crispy white table linen. The place provides a lot of comfort and privacy. I really enjoyed my stay."

I simply didn't get why some taxi drivers do not enter the driveway, preferring to pick-up or drop 20 meters away, on a crossroad. The street is open both ways. But that's rather a question to the taxi services.

"My bedroom was in the basement, it was dark, and there was a cold air-con unit in the ceiling which i could not adjust. The lamp at the bedside was broken. Downstairs lounge area was very dark, and had a small kitchenette attached. Place was convenient for US border, but far from downtown Vancouver."

"Absolutely wonderful stay. The place was spotless, and everything was clearly very well cared for. Everyone was kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, which made the stay even more pleasant. It was quiet and peaceful, perfect for resting, yet the location was excellent and very convenient. The room layout was very practical and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to feel comfortable right away. The internet was extremely fast and reliable. The bathroom was a real highlight — a fantastic shower with both a rain shower and a movable shower head, and the water pressure was excellent. The host was friendly, attentive, and very responsive to any questions. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend this place."

"Our host was very hospitable and we had a great time in Lahic. Food was delicious, we had a nice evening together. The area is beautiful and we were lucky to stay in the apartment. It felt very homely and the price is low, especially with breakfast included."

Nungwi has a problem with electricity. There is no energy for several hours every day. The guest house should have a generator.

"Everything was amazing, from each and every point of view. It's the type of accommodation you'd chose again and again. Josie is the best host someone could ask for - she is very attentive to the guests and always prepared to help or to recommend places for maximising the experience of tourists. The place overall and the room were not only super clean and comfortable (I literally slept like a baby, haha), but equipped with all the necessary things for a great stay. Plus, the way the room was designed... the combination between visual art and practicality is awesome! Highly recommend! Thank you so, so much, Josie!"
