"Clean, very friendly staffs, big room. Exactly same property as shown in the pictures. Value for money"

1. No elevator, 2. No mirror in the bed room, 3. No shower curtain in the bathroom, wooden floor make sounds while walking

"Bra service, närvarande personal. Enkelt all lämna bagage och trots att rummet var ganska smalt i bredd, hade jag tur med rumskamrater. Köket för matlagning var toppen! Välutrustat och stort utrymme där kan man om man vill tillaga alla dagens mål."

Väldigt smalt rum för att sova 4 i. Samt att förvaringen för att förvara värdesaker var en nätbox under sängen vilken knakade och lät då jag tidigt på morgonen skulle bege mig. Även förvaringen krävde att man hade eget kodlås.

"Good for short stay. Very easy to contact with owner. Everything is in. Parking is perfect,safe and really it is big."

"The owner was very nice and the room was clean (we stayed in the hotel room with the barhroom). The kitchen was well equipped. It’s close to the boat taxi port, from where you can easily get tongue center."

"The atmosphere is very welcoming, homely, laidback. The staff are both locals and volunteers and this mix creates a great atmosphere. The friday braais are great for meeting people and can be a good pre-drinks for going out. Next to that it isn't a massive party hostel, which is a good thing to me. It's social, and many drinks are done in the evening in the common area, but when you go to sleep it has mostly quieted down. People that want to party further go out to the city at that point. There aren't that many other activities, but people organize it through the hostel whatsapp. Sometimes they do a volley session on the beach or volunteers might initiate something like Laura starting her Thursdays morning workout! Also, they are very relaxed in letting us borrow some coolers from the kitchen to go to the beach or a weekend festival even."

I would love it if the volley would become a weekly scheduled thing too. That on Wednesday / Tuesday and the braai on Fridays would be the perfect amount of planned activities combined with spontaneous stuff that's planned through whatsapp.

"Jättetrevlig tillmötesgående ägarinna som verkligen. Bryr sig om sina gäster. Som förväntat en enkel men bra frukost. Bra läge i Farallon nära stranden och en mataffär. Enkelt men mysigt."

Det går nog att lägga net lite mer jobb på trädgården och möblerna där men det kostar såklart lite pengar och energi att sköta. Kanske inte värt för ett såhär litet hostel.

"Fantastiskt vackert kulturarv och smart byggt med både skugga och sol och växter vid poolen och uteplats på taket för solnedgång."

1. Personalen i restaurangen chattrade (pratade) så himla högt med varandra så jag ville inte sitta där och äta. Det fanns bord precis utanför men där fick jag inte sitta. Till slut när jag berättade att jag inte orkade lyssna på deras prat finns prat sinsemellan fick jag sitta vid bordet utanför restaurangen på taket. Men då var jag tvungen sa personalen att bära tillbaka all disk själv till köket. 2. En annan gång när jag ville beställa mat och var jättehungrig så gjorde jag min beställning. Satte mig ner och väntade i 20 minuter och tittade på medans personalen satt och åt lunch tillsammans när de hade ätit lunch klart ställde sig kocken upp och gick in i köket och lagade min mat som jag då fick 40 minuter senare. 3. Deras soppor smakar pulversoppa.

"Had a comfortable stay here for 1 night layover, Dany was a great host. I enjoyed visiting the night market nearby where you get to see a slice of local life. The dorm room is quite basic but great for the price, and bathroom facilities were clean."

"Rena och fräscha faciliteter. De städade och bytte handdukar varje dag! Byggnaden låg också väldigt nära tunnelbanan, endast kring 5 min gång. Rummen var fräscha och likaså toaletterna samt duschen. Personalen var väldigt hjälpsamma om man undrade något. Extra plus var det låg en 7-eleven endast 1 min bort samt tvättstuga cirka 2 min bort. Det fanns även en stor mataffär som låg precis vid tunnelbanestation."

Även fast läget är bra till närmaste tunnelbanestation så får man vara beredd på att det tar en stund att åka in till de populäraste attraktionerna då Minowa stationen ligger lite utanför.

"I really like the concept of this place. It's affordable, and the proceeds go to the animals. The terrace in our room was great. There was a super cute cat tablecloth on the table."

"Väldigt trevligt hostel, bra gemensamma ytor där man kan spela biljard, laga mat och hänga. Väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Läget är centralt vid Makedonia-torget, nära till barer, affärer och sevärdheter."

Det hade varit bättre att få veta på förhand att de enskilda rummen låg i en annan byggnad, ca 5 minuters promenad från huvudbyggnaden.

Fanns ingen handtvål i badrummet.

"The hostel was pretty clean. The staff at the reception were friendly, helpful, and patient. They have a lot of knowledge about tourism in Bagan and were always happy to give advice or answer questions. It was also very convenient that they can help you book buses directly at the hostel, and that you can rent e-bikes. Another big plus is the atmosphere. The hostel is social, but not in an overwhelming way. It’s not loud or pushy. There are great opportunities to connect with other travelers if you want, but you can also just sit by the pool and enjoy some quiet time. I think this place is perfect both for people looking for peace and quiet and for those who want to meet others."

There wasn’t much to complain about. The only small improvement I can think of would be adding curtains to the beds, which would give a bit more privacy.

Det finns inget gemensamt rum där man kan sätta sig och läsa ex. I köket var stolarna ostadiga det var obekvämt att äta. Mem jag skulle definitivt komma tillbaka. :-)
