"Fantastic location. I had a private room and bathroom. Fantastic. Quiet, helpful staff and a great location. Loved it. Super close to walking up the hill for a great view over the city and close to all key sites in the old city. Inexpensive and good value. I didn't eat breakfast there as there is a wonderful garden cafe 1 min walk in the same street which is lovely for good coffee and food."

Hot water was a little temperamental and loo leaked.

"Utmärkt centralt läge, nära till det mesta. Frukost med flera alternativ. Känns säkert med personliga koder till "rum" och bagageutrymme. Sovsal med tio bäddar men ändå med enbart hänsynsfulla gäster. Och framför allt en jättetrevlig och hjälpsam personal."

Värmen i sovalkoven. Öppet fönster rekommenderas.

Although I accidentally chose the wrong room when I booked, she allowed me to change it (I wanted a female room) without hesitation. "Everything. The place is beautiful, super cozy, and very clean. You can really feel the love and attention to detail everywhere. The chill areas are great to relax, and the breakfast was more than decent. Amélie, the owner, is an amazing host – so kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. Her Auberge is truly a dream."

The only small downside was the location being a bit far from the central bus station, but that’s just a personal preference and didn’t affect the overall great experience.

"Small and very cute guesthouse with a lovely colourful Bahamian vibe, perfectly located within walking distance of the beach, the Fish Fry with great local restaurants, and downtown Nassau. Min and Troy were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help and make the stay comfortable. Everything was clean, well maintained, and the atmosphere felt relaxed and personal. It truly felt like a little home away from home. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Nassau."

Det kom en extra kostnad pga skatt som jag inte såg vid bokningstillfället. Booking.com svarade inte på min fråga om skatten. Infon fanns i bekräftelsen, men jag vet inte var det stod vid bokningen. Vilseledande.

Sängarna var vingliga och gnisslade vilket störde så fort man skulle vända sig i sängen.

"Great place to stay in Dakar – a quiet area just outside the very city center, which makes it more peaceful and relaxed, and at the same time it is very close to the sea. You can fall asleep listening to the sound of the waves, and during the day enjoy a beautiful garden full of greenery and chirping birds. Breakfast is elegant and tasty, and the price is absolutely fantastic for Dakar – it is hard to ask for more at this level. For me, in Dakar: a well‑deserved 5 out of 5 stars."

"Good location, within walking distance of town but far from tourist crowds. Full kitchen facilities and equipment for self catering. Many restaurants nearby especially Peanuts restaurant for good local food. Supermarket is nearby. Very friendly hosts! Good overall value for Aruba. There weren't that many guests in the dorm when I stayed so it was almost like having private space."
