"Simple hotel. Everythng was OK. The manager insisted I bring my motorbike into the lobby for safe keeping."

"Mycket prisvärt. Centralt läge i Zlotoryja. Bra parkering. Mycket fint hotell, både rummen och övriga utrymmen. Det är inget lyxhotell med spa, morgonrockar, tofflor och 17 olika små flaskor och tuber i badrummet, men ett extremt bra Scandic- klasshotell. God frukost. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal."

Jag fick inte igång wi-fi, men det var nog min okunskap och jag är säker på att jag hade fått hjälp om jag frågat. Mina barn hade inga problem med wi-fi. (Vi bodde i tre enkelrum)

"I's a nice, relaxing place in a beautiful natural setting. A bit above Nioumachoua and with a very nice view over the hills and coast from the room balcony. Staff was very friendly and helpful and they can inform you about possible activities as well. The room was comfortable and reasonably clean, there was an (intact) mosquito net and air con. The breakfast was included and you can order dinner as well, which was delicious."

The door handles tend to fall out and should be repaired. Some ants in the room. Some waiting time for breakfast.

They were also super helpful with my queries around transport. My room was top quality. Spacious, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet despite the central location. "Island Hopper was recommended by a friend and didn't disappoint. The staff made us feel at 'home' right from the airport pick up. The beds are more comfortable than ours at home. The restaurant is also excellent! Hope to be back one day."

Distance between bed and the walls was tiny, you have to do some physical exercise to get in. Also, the toilet felt a bit fragile :)

The room have unpleasant smell from the toilet initially. But overall room was clean and seems to be maintained well.

Frukosten kunde ha varit bättre och mer istället för några bitar av allt. Annars var allt annat bra.

"Great small hotel and pub. Good breakfast with pancaces and best scrambled eggs I ever had in any hotel in Europe. They could sell it as separated dish and I would buy it every morning. Lot of TV channels for every taste."

"Het meest beviel ons de rust en hygiëne. We aten ontbijt en diner in het hotel. Vantevoren konden we aangeven hoe laat we het wilden hebben en wat we wilden eten. De kok luisterde goed naar onze wensen. Verder is het personeel zeer behulpzaam en helpt wanneer nodig."

Eigenlijk viel niets echt tegen. Omdat het een nieuwe lokatie is, merk je dat de medewerkers nog wat onwennig zijn en moet je pro-actief zijn. Zo hadden we handdoeken en een kopje voor 1 persoon op de kamer terwijl we met zijn tweeën waren. Als je erom vraagt zorgen ze snel dat het wordt opgelost. Als je TV wil kijken, houd er rekening mee dat je alleen YouTube video's kunt bekijken 😀 De lokatie is gelegen op een zeer stil punt in Zomba en heeft geen buitenterras, dat zou nog wel fijn zijn. En, zoals je wel vaker tegenkomt in Malawi, het weggetje ernaartoe is een zandpad met stenen en kuilen, dus houd daar rekening mee.

Rooms are small but great if you only need a place to sleep. We use this hotel al lot for ease.

Några av gästerna rökte utanför vårt fönster när vi skulle sova. Personalen övertalade dem att flytta på sig. Gratis kaffe på rummet men ej te, det var konstigt? Ingen vattenkokare?
