"I am writing this, as a former Hotel Manager and 25+ years of experience in Hotel- and restaurant business. Value for money! I always "judge" from that point of wiev and at Baba Lao Hotel and Baba Lao Beach Resort, witch I swiftet to when the Management told me it had just opened, are both the best Value for Money I have stayed at in my 12 years coming to Africa - by far. And the breakfast (omelet, bread and 3-4 dif fruits) is included in the only 9 dollar or night you pay for your own "hut" ON the beach - to me it was also lunch. Go there before your nabour....."

"The staff are very welcoming and respond promptly. Breakfast served was wow! Meals offered at the restaurant are very delicious 😋. Good to see, the restaurant being revived to full operations."

"Wifi connectivity was somehow poor since the TV was really hanging. The pillow cases on the beds are a little bit uncomfortable, there is need to do pillow filling or replace them. The door shatters are a bit worn out, they can be reinforced well and use proper padlocks."

"The breakfast was rich and generous. I was amazed at the huge quantity and the provision of a variety of the breakfast. Its also a kenyan breakfast. Another thing I loved was the staff, they were welcoming and willing to interact and share interesting places to visit and addressed any concerns . The hotel is located near shopping markets and its a walk or the taxis, motorbikes , tuk tuk are just outside the door. I highly recommend this hotel."
