"Jättefina pooler, bra rum men väldigt dåligt ljudisolerat så man blev störd av grannarna. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Bra avstånd från tåg/buss och city samt strand. Vi fick inte det rum vi bokat från början och det var ett stort minus. Budgetrummet som vi fick första dagen var inte alls roligt. Av någon anledning var rummet vi bokat upptaget. I övrigt bara gott om hotellet."

"It would be nice to have tea and coffee facilities within the room. You can ask at reception for these but it's always nice to be able to make your own."

"Where do I start? When arriving we were greeted with good energy and smiles all round. The staff can’t be faulted at all, taking care of us in any circumstance, and they make you feel the upmost comfortability! The pools are fantastic and very clean, the gardens and little water fountains are idyllic! Location is peaceful and the rooms are equally at ease! Don’t be a fool, book with confidence!"

"Arcadia Resort is a very atmospheric and charming place where you can truly feel the spirit of real Sri Lanka. It is located just a 4-minute walk from the railway station, which makes it very convenient and affordable to travel from Colombo and continue further along the coast. The location is a big advantage for anyone exploring the island by train. Everyone there was incredibly friendly. The guys at the reception were amazing – very helpful, kind, and always smiling. We arrived early in the morning and without any problems received our room earlier than the standard check-in time, which we really appreciated after our journey. The breakfasts were traditional local style, very tasty, and more than enough – we always ate until we were completely satisfied. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back."

"Lovely peaceful oasis only 5 minutes walk from the beach and town with the added bonus of 2 swimming pools and gorgeous gardens. Hosts were amazing nothing was too much trouble even did a birthday cake for my friend. We had a room with a pool view which was great. Loved it!"
"Just wish we could have stayed longer but they were fully booked. Bathroom was functional but better shower would have made facilities a 10."
