"great location, near to the beach family very friendly and super helpful. showed us a short cut to the beach, and provide tuk tuk transport to see the turtles and to move to Mirissa tasty breakfast, one day we didn't eat the inside of the pancakes because was to sweet for us and next day they did it in a different way"

"The host family was very friendly and the breakfast was amazing! The locationl is great as well, easy to reach and close to the beach. We stayed longer than we had originally planned because we liked it so much :) (No AC, no warm water, but we didn't mind)"

"A fine big room was spotlessly clean, with a very good breakfast and attentive hosts.We also had dinner on one of the two nights we stayed and that was excellent and very good value. Overall a nice place to stay for a very reasonable price"

"Det var så tyst lugnt och skönt där. Slippa allt ståhej på gatan i hikkaduwa. Jättefint rum med balkong och kylskåp. Rekomenderar det varmt."

"The natural ambience was excellent, a proper place to take off your mind and attain some peacefulness. The name itself reflects the beauty of it all, The jungle retreat it is. Apart from the mindfulness and comfort, the food is through the roof, all flavored perfectly balanced. Staff and management is so cooperative at all times, i would definitely go there again in my next vacation to dambulla. Highly recommended 100%"

"Absolutely stunning property with a beautiful beachside location, the outside shower areas are fabulous .Staff are amazingly caring, the food is also delicious. Felt like royalty! People of Sri Lanka are warm and friendly. Local diving in Kalpitiya is a must. Hired a tuk tuk for a true Sri Lankan experience. Wildlife at the house is truly incredible, so many birds and other creatures.Thank you Sisira, Indrani and Rokshan! The driver Serangha is caring polite and amazing too! 100% recommended."

"We visited Wadduwa for a wedding, this villa's location is within 5 mins walking distance to the wedding venue. The bedroom was spacious and the beds were comfortable. AC is working - just the right temperature. Even though it's a homestay we felt that there's enough privacy :))) We used the cold shower (there's electric shower too) since it's very hot and humid. We used our own toiletries. The Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious! I probably had the best homemade dhal curry with string hoppers and roti. The sambol also had a nice kick to it. Mr Kuma also made me omelette. Freshly brewed coffee in the morning amidst birds and squirrels is a wonderful feeling whilst watching trains passing by. He also recommended us nice restaurants nearby."

"We liked everything, the location, hosts, amenities, and the apartment itself. One thing we found hard was that we could not turn on the gas stove as we are not familiar with it, so never end up using it."

We highly recommend it!! >>>We recommend doing the safari with the hotel managers because it was absolutely perfect. Again, fantastic value for money. And the safari entrance is just down the street, a two-minute walk away."
