"Hotellet ligger mycket centralt i en förvisso liten stad. Ett vackert gammalt hus som renoverats fint. Frukosten var mycket bra. En enkel frukostbuffé men en jättetrevlig kvinna lagade omelett, pannkakor, gröt etc efter önskemål. Personalen var mycket hjälpsam och vi fick checka in flera timmar tidigare. Det hjälpte mycket då vi reste med en ettåring."
"Rummet var mycket varmt i juli trots fläkt och öppet fönster. Det kanske kan förväntas av ett trähus i juli. Då hotellet ligger i ett gammalt hus med en stentrappa var det svårt för oss att komma in och ut med barnvagn. Inomhus var det svårt med barnvagnen då det var en stora trätrappa upp till rummet. Så det var lite svårt att resa med barnvagn, men allt gick att ordna."
"Ventspils does not have that many breakfast offering hotels in off-season. We booked at 19:50 of stay day, were the only guests (host arrived specially to let us in) and next morning were were served exclusive breakfast. That was incredibly good."

"If Im in Ventspils I choose only Kupfernams. The staff has the best attitude. They welcomed me quite late, staying specifically to wait for my arrival and then explained / showed everything. The same great service continued in the morning at breakfast. Delicious and plenty of food. Highly recommend."

"The location was good, rooms were cozy, warm, comfortable. Each room had a kettle and a mini fridge, so the stay became even more pleasant. Breakfast was delicious and had various options."

"Very little room around the bed. Bathroom ceiling sloped so it was easy to bang your head. No reception so had to call for access which didn't work and we only got in by chance. Only one key and it had to be used to lock the outside door when staff not in situ...so if one went out the other was effectively locked in."
