"Allt var riktigt bra. Personalen var väldigt trevliga och hjälpsamma och det kändes hemtrevligt. Rummen var mysiga och alltid välstädade. Även frukosten var väldigt god och uppskattad av oss. Läget på hotellet var jättebra - det kändes lite avskilt men samtidigt nära till allt, framförallt medinan (gamla staden). Rekommenderar starkt att bo här, vi var väldigt nöjda med allt!"

"Monriad är en väldigt mysig riad med trevlig personal och ett perfekt läge i Medinan - den äldre delen av Marrakech. Det finns en stor takterrass. Rummen är små och enkelt inredda men rena. Boendet har WiFi men det är mycket långsamt. Monriad ligger mitt i ett kluster av mysiga små gränder med hundratals små butiker som säljer allt från hantverk och antikviteter till smycken, väskor och skor. Personalen var hjälpsam med att boka restaurang, transfer från flygplatsen och taxi till olika destinationer. Vill man känna den genuina Marrakech känslan i några dagar, så är Monriad ett utmärkt val."

"Boendet skulle ha både pool och balkong enligt beskrivning på Bookings. Poolen var max 4-5 kvm och låg mitt i restaurangen. Balkong (privat) saknades. Boendet saknade hiss och det var lite svårt att bära stora resväskor uppför smala trappor till vån 3."

"I was staying between tours for 1 night only but it was worth it they have a lovely rooftop with a great view of Atlas mountains and Kotoubia mosque for the great sunset. The location is great to access everything within the medina. I was leaving very early and they were so kind to arrange an early breakfast for me. The rooms was on the 2nd floor and it was on the small side but it was OK for me as a single occupant and for one night."

"Property was exceptional. Breakfast better than expected. Airport transfer arranged direct with property meant smooth arrival and departure door to door. The home-cooked tagine lunch we booked for our arrival was amazing too, especially sitting on the rooftop terrace."

"A big minus and problem - we received the only room from the ground level which is located inside the dining area. Did you ever sleep in a restaurant? Because this is how it feels. The tables are directly in your door. Meaning you cannot rest from morning until evening, because people are eating and talking just a few centimetres from your door. It feels like breakfast is held in your room, during the day there is cooking classes so again it is happening just outside the door. In the evening again dinner was happening just an arms length from our room. Also this was not a standard room, so we paid more. We could not rest anytime due to the position of this room inside the restaurant. Also, we could not open the windows to get some air because everyone in the restaurant is looking at you. It was too bad because there is mold just above the shower so we needed some air. My advice - do not accept room number 2 at ground level if you don’t want to feel like your bed is in the kitchen. For this money it was incomprehensible for us to receive such room. Hotel management should think that by renting this room they are winning money but losing potential customers in the future."

"The location was ideal. Bang in the centre of the Medina and easy to walk anywhere. The shower was decent. The regular and vegan breakfast were both good... After the hiccup on the first day."

"The rooms are tiny but maybe to be expected for the cost. The staff were courteous but not overly friendly. The taxi they offered to organise for our onward journey was quite expensive so I suggest people book online instead"

"A beautifully authentic riad in a great location for enjoying the vibrancy of Marrakesh yet still a peaceful retreat when your day is over. Every member of staff was welcoming and friendly with plenty of helpful advice about how to make the most of your stay. Cleanliness is clearly given a high priority and the overall ambience is cozy and tranquil. There’s a lot you can see within a 15 minute walk with a seemingly endless choice of restaurants including those serving alcohol."
