"Rent och välstädat, nära till centrum och ganska stora rum, duschen funkade utan problem och det blev ganska mörkt i rummet utan att ljus kom igenom"

"Sängarna var alldeles för hårda och kuddarna var antingen hårda och låga, eller så sjönk man igenom dem. Hotellet ligger på en ”huvudgata” så det kan bli väldigt högljutt på natten så öronproppar är nästan väsentliga om man vill stanna här. Gästerna har en tendens att smälla dörrar vilket hörs i rummet, det finns nästan ingen isolering. Våra sista dagar hade en grupp unga killar checkat in och de gjorde väldigt mycket oväsen på natten som hördes igenom konstant. Tv:n funkade inte heller, det visades bara reklam typ i alla kanaler."

"Really nice hotel by basic standards. I loved the little gym. The bedroom and ensuite were roomy. Good pressure in the shower too. I liked the fresh water tank where we could refill our bottles. Very kind cleaning staff."

"The bedroom was a little cold at night as there are slates in the windows that do not shut. The hot water only seemed to be available in the morning. I think a complimentary tea and coffee would have been a nice welcoming touch."

"Great spot near Bellas Artes and the Angel of Independence! The neighborhood is generally safe, just be careful about walking alone late at night."

"The rooms lack soundproofing, so there is significant street noise. Additionally, the beds are quite firm; if you prefer a softer mattress, you might find them a bit uncomfortable."

"I liked that the hotel is environmentally conscious (it's aware of water scarcity in Mexico city and have a number of suggestions to reduce water use; they also have a water fountain in the first floor in order to reduce the use of single-use plastic bottles). The bed is really comfy, wifi worked really well and fast."

"Close to Zocalo and transportation options. I really admired cleanliness and the sustainability policy of the hotel. The cleaning staff were extensively caring. Wifi worked without interruption. The free water-dispenser was quite beneficial which is a significant plus."

"However, there are certain fallacies that cannot be ignored. My prime complaint is the noise. Ok, the street is very noisy and crowded but the hotel should have developed a better sound-proofing system. The noise of the street really makes the room unendurable. Also, especially one of the male personnel was rude and far away from any assistance and refused any attempt to speak some English. There was only one plug in the room and it was far away from the desk which rendered working on my laptop difficult. Also the room got really cold at night and there was no heating."

"The staff was friendly and our room was kept clean every day. Even though we didn't speak very good Spanish the staff was very helpful and kind to us. It was in a super convenient location with the zocalo and yummy food all within a 10-20 minute walk."

"The busy road next door makes it quite noisy inside, but luckily my room faced the courtyard, so it was much better. Still, I needed earplugs – but I expected that. Everything else was great, and it is only about a 15-minute walk to Zócalo. Ideal location overall."
