"Most hospitable hosts - great guys. Traditional styled rooms. Excellent view over the balcony. The best location, right next to public parking - if you can get a spot in high season. Probably the best value stay if you want to stay the night in Misfah."

"There was construction next door but I understand it's nearly done - the family is building another guesthouse. Dinner was adequate, not exceptional but we went during Ramadan and felt like we got leftovers - rather small portions."

"Al Misfah is a lovely little village with interesting walks and close to Al Hamra and other attractions. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. Communication was excellent. Tasty food, and plenty of it! We took a tour of the farm which was very interesting."

"There was nothing not to like, just a couple of pointers: The village is very small and not suitable for cars. There's a car park before the gates to the village, so be prepared to carry your bags a short way to the accommodation (Basmat Al Misfah is right at the start of the village, so you don't have to go far, maybe 3-5 minutes walk). The accommodation is built into a traditional house which keeps the authenticity of the area. This means that the bathrooms tend to be very small (think the size you'd expect on a small boat)"

"Great accomodation to spend one or two days to visit the surroundings. Ahmed is polite and friendly, he gave us a welcome snack and suggested some lively spots to watch the sunset! Dinner and breakfast are amazing, you can enjoy them on the building terrace with a magnificent view!"
