"The room was very clean and comfortable, and the host was very welcoming. The courtyard was pleasant, with a nice view of the sunrise. There is a supermarket, bars and cafés nearby and Pico Areiro is only half an hour away, avoiding the busy roads of Funchal."
"The wifi was very bad and the shared kitchen was a bit weird (overall clean, but the fridge smelled awful)."

Nice little area with a pretty church, felt like a local! Antonio was a very kind host and replied to messages and dealt with any requests right away. Would defo stay again :)"

"We had a wonderful stay here during our trip to Madeira! The area is absolutely stunning — peaceful, surrounded by nature, and perfect for relaxing. The accommodation itself was spotless and very comfortable, ideal for unwinding after a day of exploring the island. One of the highlights is the location: you’ll find some lovely bars nearby where you can enjoy a great poncha (a local must-try!) and charming places to grab a tasty breakfast and good coffee to start your day right. Antonio, the host, is incredibly friendly and helpful — always available if you need anything and genuinely cares that you enjoy your stay. You can tell he puts a lot of heart into making guests feel welcome. Highly recommended — we would definitely come back! Thank you, Antonio!"

"My partner and I spent three wonderful days in this lovely home. The house is charming, well-kept, and fully equipped — nothing is missing! It’s also spacious enough to feel very comfortable. It’s located in a small, quiet village where you’ll find great restaurants, bars, and a supermarket just a few steps away. The area is also very well connected to all nearby points of interest, making it easy to explore the surroundings. If you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing place to stay, this is the perfect spot! Antonio is truly a kind and helpful host — we really appreciated his availability and warm welcome."
