Built on a mountain top in Monchique, VilaFoia is a modern Bed and Breakfast offering spacious accommodations, panoramic mountain views, outdoor swimming badområde and an outdoor Jacuzzi for the less sunny days. VilaFoia features large double, family rooms and studios with smart TV´s, fiber optic WIFI, safe, rituals amenities, and floor heating. Each of the air-conditioned rooms has private bathroom with hairdryer. Guest can relax at the VilaFoia sun lounges after they will enjoy their breakfast buffet. Ideally surrounded by Cork Trees, this eco-friendly guesthouse provides a library and a solar-heated garden. There are several outdoor activities, such as walk with donkeys, hiking, wine tasting, yoga class, olive oil tasting, massage, etc. There are also space for hosting your retreat and company off site. Our meeting room is equipped for small gathering and our Geo Dome for large groups.

"Väldigt väldigt trevligt och mysigt ställe. Supertrevlig och omtänksam personal. Mycket trevlig frukost. Tydligt skyltat, bra parkering. Fint stort naturområde högt uppe i bergen mycket att se på trots att vi var där i off-season. Otrolig utsikt. Rekommenderar att när man väl är där så är det bara att njuta, finns möjlighet att äta där från ett litet utbud som räckte väl för oss på eftermiddagen/kvällen."

"The rooms are noisy. They look bigger in the pictures and aren't very cozy or nicely furnished, but that's a matter of taste. Breakfast is good, but nothing special."

"Otroligt fint städat! (Det kändes hemskt att smutsa ner rummet med vandringskläderna). Vi fick ett varmt välkomnande av Rosa & te på rummet, vilket uppskattades efter en lång vandring. Vi åt även på Rosas restaurang Sol Dourado efter vi checkat. Restaurangen hade god service, gott vin & lokala rätter. Väldigt fint dygn i byn. Tack!"

"The location -walking distance to the beach was great. Peaceful atmosphere, very chill. Very well equipped with everything you need. Magnificent views from the room. Friendly staff, although it was off-season so everything was a little slow."

"Cosy room.in a traditional old farm building. The table by the swimming pool had a fabulous vista down the valley to Vizela and beyond; perfect for watching the sunset directly ahead whilst bats fly around and sipping the delicious wine made by the family. We regret not bringing some home! The owner went the extra mile for us, for example taking our laundry and ironing even in the middle of a heatwave"
