"Frukosten var bra men inte mycket varierad. Mango/banan/kokos/avocado om vartannat. Fina pannkakor flertalet dagar. Nescafe´ men inte bryggkaffe. En vänlig kock gjorde gärna omeletter eller ägg och bacon..... Bröd är sällan bra i varma länder och yogurten kommer i små förpackningar liksom man kan se i södra Europa eller Mellanöstern. Alldeles för söt...."

"Så här: Byggnader i betong anpassade efter omgivningen på en berg- eller höjdsluttning. Utförande av kakel på golvytor utomhus skulle aldrig godkännas i kalla länder. Inomhus i tex badrum märks att arbeten utförs av Indiska daglönare som tänker på annat medan de jobbar och slarvar med fogmassan. Överlag är intrycket dock gott."

"Trevlig och väldigt tillmötesgående personal, ville dock mer än de kunde. Väldigt starka drinkar om man nu föredrar det. Ligger väldigt vackert till, med utsikt mot regnskogen."

"Tog lång tid att få mat, ca. 1 km till stranden och ingången mot nationalparken, börjar med en en väldigt brant backe. Extra jobbigt när man skall hem."

"This is our fifth visit to the Seychelles and was our first stay at Mountain View Hotel. We found the rooms to be very good, the pool was lovely to cool off in at the end of the day and the view was lovely, we even saw paradise flycatchers from there. All the staff at the hotel are fantastic and want to make sure you enjoy your holiday. The hotel is at the top of a steep hill but this gives you the wonderful view and it is not too far to cycle anywhere on the island. For the price paid we found the hotel to be excellent value for money. We cannot understand the negative reviews. We certainly have no hesitation in recommending this hotel."

"We had a good stay at the Mountain View Hotel. The staff was really friendly and did their best. The breakfast was tasty. Everything was clean. We always had enough water to shower. The hotel is on a hill with a nice view. We went by foot from the jetty. It took 30-40 minutes. It was sweaty, but we really liked it. If you do not like it, they organize you a taxi. We rent bikes for the days at the nearby MOMO‘s bike rental and liked to drive over the island."

"Sometimes we had not enough toilet paper in the room - but it was not bad. We good some after questioning. The hotel is a bit dated compared to the photos - but everything clean and fine."

The location is unbeatable, close to the jetty, shops, bike rentals and the most beautiful beaches, yet still quiet and peaceful with stunning views of the mountains. The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable, with great air conditioning and everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and a great way to start the day before exploring the island. The staff were outstanding, so warm, welcoming and always ready to help us with recommendations, bookings and local tips. Their kindness made our experience unforgettable and we felt truly taken care of. This hotel really exceeded our expectations, it felt like home on paradise island. Highly recommended to anyone visiting La Digue! 🌺✨"

"The best thing were the girls from the reception,so polite,simply excellent! The room was beautiful,mountains view,the breakfast was very good,really good value for the money. It is a little bit uphill,so take that in your mind. Close to the grand Anse beach which we found the best in the island. I defended recommend this place"
