"Inne i djungeln bodde vi i 5 dagar. Fint med fiskar i vattnet och fåglar bland träden. Geckos, stora som små, höll oss sällskap på verandan om kvällarna. Bra rum, badrum och fläkt som gör jobbet. Nära till nattmarknaden, vattenfall och fina stränder. Supersnäll värd som hjälper en med vad man än behöver hjälp med."

"It’s like having your own house you could live there forever… they are friendly and helpful but is peaceful. You can rent motorbikes no hassle from them and ferry bus will collect you from front.shoutout to the dude at the counter who helped me my hand he was a gentleman. Also the neighbour helped me shout out to her aswel lol."

"The owner Tee was so welcoming when I arrived and very helpful in getting my bearings ! The bungalow had everything I needed plus very quiet and calm . Short walk to small nightmarket and easy walk to beach"

"Location is amazing: clean, quiet and immersed in beautiful nature, just a short walk to the center. There are several shops and restaurants nearby, including a night market. The hosts are extremely kind and helpful. They provided free water and coffee every morning. I had a splendid and relaxing experience at their guesthouse, loved absolutely everything about it. Hope to be back one day!"

"Great place to stay in Koh Kood Island. Clean bungalow with comfy bed. Hot water, refrigerator, water boiler and fan. Quiet location and walking distance to some restaurants and shops but motorbike is still pretty much needed. Free coffee and water bottles every morning. Lovely family and they will help you what ever you may need. Can recommend to stay at Mata Guesthouse!"

"Mata Guesthouse has unbelievably kind and wonderful staff. They go above and beyond to help with everything — arranging tickets to Bangkok, renting scooters, doing laundry, and more. They made my stay incredibly easy and stress-free. The bungalow was clean, comfortable, quite, and very well maintained. It was a great place to relax. The location is also excellent. There are local shops nearby, a night market within walking distance, and restaurants open from early morning, so you never feel inconvenienced. As a bonus, there are adorable dogs and cats around the guesthouse, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I would absolutely love to come back and stay here again."
