"We keep returning to this property because it is an amazing typical Stone town building. Tall and fascinating. We love the top of the building where you can sit and relax and see over the roof tops of the town and out to sea."

"Don't normally eat breakfast but tried it one day and had a very simple omelette. The location ideal for getting around Stone Town although very easy to get lost. all the staff were polite, helpful and very friendly."

"Loved the top terrace with a view over the water. Breakfast served there. Clean and comfortable room with nice clean sheets. Good central location in the old city. Note that there are lots of narrow stairs. I liked them and I like being up high. But if you have bad knees ..."

"I had a wonderful stay at the Kupaga Villas in Zanzibar. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the rooms are very clean, hygienic, and well equipped. I especially appreciated how accommodating the team was when I asked for an alternative to regular milk, since I don’t drink it. The reception immediately arranged soy milk for me, and throughout my entire stay I was able to enjoy soy milk with my coffee. That was incredibly kind and thoughtful, and I really felt taken care of. Everything at the hotel is very clean, and it’s also easy to book great excursions directly from the hotel. Juliet and Martin at the reception were always helpful, friendly, and ready to assist with anything.🥰 I had an absolutely lovely stay and would be very happy to come back again. Highly recommended!"

"We loved our stay at Moringe's and would definitely stay there again if we ever get the chance to come back to Zanzibar. We were looking for a quiet area with easy access to the beach and to local Swahili food and shops and this place was perfect for that. The room was spacious and located on the ground floor and we enjoyed sitting on the patio in front of the room to enjoy the afternoon breeze and shade. Breakfast was fantastic, we were served amazing rice cakes, fresh fruits, juice and so many other delicious things. Moringe was very responsive and ready to answer all our questions."

"Helt underbart läge bara några meter ifrån en helt fantastisk strand. Om man ville pröva någon annan resturang än hotellets så var de bara att gå några meter via stranden för att pröva närliggande hotells menyer. Frukosten va jätte god och fräsch. Personalen va underbara och var bra på engelska så om man hade frågor om aktiviteter man ville göra hjälpte dom gladerligen till."
