"Älskade husets äldre charm. Det var ombonat, trevligt möblerat och fullt av karaktär med en liten balkong. Personalen var otroligt hjälpsamma. Hotellets läge i stan kunde inte vara bättre . På en charmig sidogata, mitt i smeten endast en kort promenad till många av stadens sevärdheter."

"Think old colonial style building with French balconies, original details, comfortable beds and crisp bed linens. The interior is old but kept squeaky clean. Staff is super friendly. Location is great for sightseeing. I would stay here again."
"As expected when staying in the historical center there is some street noise at night. Also, the physical room key has to stay at the front desk. There is 24/7 staff, but it can feel awkward to have to bother someone to open the front door every time you come and go."

"This is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. I had the room up on the top floor with its own private terrace. Old school, unreconstructed art deco comfort with a funky elevator and outstanding views of Montevideo. For a crazy low price, all things considered. Not fancy, not a luxury hotel but so much character and charm. Easy walking distance to local attractions"
