Moditlo River Lodge

"All the meals were tasteful and plenty for all with good variation. Location was excellent with good views of nature and the river. Despite abnormal high rainfall, the staff was committed to take us on safari. When we needed to be evacuated due to flooding, the staff was friendly, quick and calm, making the experience an adventure and not a stress. Over and above making sure we were safe, they helped with transport. Walking the extra mile up to the end! THANK YOU!"

"This is a beautiful lodge with fantastic rooms, delicious meals, and animals roaming. The safari was incredible and we saw the big 5 and so many more animals (hyenas, zebras, giraffes). The sunset drinks were a great touch and our tracker and spotter made a real effort to make those special. Staff were all lovely and really welcoming. They made an effort to get to know guests and service was excellent. The food was the highlight, the breakfast/lunch and dinners changed each day and we were looking forward to every meal!"

"The stay overall was spectacular. The room cleanliness was fabulous — every time we returned from the game drive, the room was tidy and clean. Very comfortable and quiet; the bed and the shower made the stay even more pleasant. The food and the service were excellent, and we were lucky to participate in and experience a braai dinner. The highlight of the stay was the game drives, with a very attentive and dedicated guide — it was the best experience."

"A little piece of heaven. Everything was perfect. The team goes out of their way to ensure thay you are comfortable. The safaris are incredible, and the rangers do their best to make it an unforgettable experience. They were able to cater for my specific dietary requirements. There is always a selection of scrumptious food available."

"We had a fabulous cabin - right on the end with no fencing & we could watch the animals walk past. No tourists coming & going past us. We had the most knowledgeable thoughtful informative guide (Sodin)& spotter (Chris)who always knew where the animals were going& could drive around to get a closer look at them arriving"
