"We stayed here in September after walking the Arctic circle trail. We were faster than expected, so we contacted the owner as soon as we arrived in town. He immediatly told us we could stay at the house and came to pick us up in 10min to bring us there. It is a bedroom in his home and he immediately made us feel very welcome. We had space in the fridge, the entire kitchen available and we were allowed to use the washing machine to clean all our stuff. The WiFi was also excellent. The host was very friendly and taught us lots about Greenland, Inuit culture and history and the surrounding area. He also offered to take us on a boat trip to the ghost village (at a much better rate than any other provider). All in all a great place to stay!"

As we were staying in someone's home and not a hotel, the place wasnt absolutely spotless, but it was clean and homey. It might not be to everybody's taste to share a bathroom with a family though.

It had everything you need in a guesthouse. However, some reforms need to be made, but the host told me he's working on it

"The location is beautifully landscaped, with lots of trees and flowers that brought in a variety of wildlife to view! We saw several beautiful birds and cute lizards. Tanja and Leo were extremely kind, welcoming, and accommodating! They provide a binder with plenty of information about the beaches, wildlife, and restaurants. We loved meeting the cats and dogs on the grounds! They were so cute and friendly. Renting a vehicle was easy and allowed us to visit nearby beaches with ease. The outdoor shower was refreshing and beautiful."

There is no air-conditioning, so it could get hot, but it was managable enough. There is a ceiling fan, and if the bathroom door is open, it allows for a lovely breeze. The net for mosquitos is helpful, but we found we needed to supplement with additional bug spray and a citronella candle. All in all, it was not too bad, and it was definitely managable!

It is a bit out of the town but ok if you have a car. If there are many guests you will have to queue to use the shower room and toilet as it is a shared Barth room property.

"I have visited many hotels and villas and I must say this was the most cleanest place I have ever been! The hoast was very warm and welcoming, the room was very clean and warm. I will deffinitely say that it is well located and very close to the sea."

There’s no full kitchen available — just a small area with a microwave and an icebox. But considering the cost, it’s still a good deal.

When I was sick she made me tea and snack which I could take to the room. We had no car and they took us to Mavrovo. We really appreciate this! The location is also very good - near to Medenica and near to horse farm."

"Easy communication with the owner. The room is relatively small in comparison to the other accommodations, but not a big deal, it's a traditional house. Overall we enjoyed our stay and we definitely recommend for 1-2 nights."

The acces road is quite steep and parking might be challenging. Quite a lot of mosquitos during the night.

"Det var så mysigt. Huset är ett vackert patricier hus som kändes så bra och välkomnande att komma in i. Fina, stora rum och fräscha välstädade badrum. Härligt kök som var mycket välutrustat och vår Familj samlades gärna runt matbordet. Vi fixade frukost själva men det var ändå väldigt generöst med olika kaffesorter, teeer, sylt etc.i köket. Och inte att förglömma, det är praktiskt att kunna promenera till Gamla stan! Och slutligen, Wi-Fi funkade utmärkt."

"Enkelt men rent. Otroligt fin utsikt nära havet. Dock så är det en heldel som inte är färdig byggt. Mycket gästvänliga. Inte barn vänligt. Lugnt skönt. Inge biltrafik som stör."
