"The hotel is really cute and the breakfast is good. They’ve really cute dogs that brings a more special energy. The location is great as well."

My only complaint is about the bed… it was hanging in the middle and was really noise. Needs a new bed.

"The host, Andrae was super friendly and helpful, I was able to check in a bit late, he also organised an early morning taxi for me to get to the airport. The location is great, right in the middle of Philipsburg and just minutes walk from the beach. You're surrounded by restaurants and shops. Price was excellent."

Room and amenities are simple, but for this price and location you can't complain.

"The fales are super nice with ocean view and were clean and well maintained. The family was so great and the food amazing. Bathroom was also ok. Snorkelling was good too, close to the beach you can see many small colorful fish. Another guest even saw a small (harmless if you leave him in peace) reef shark outside at the very edge of the reef. Easy access to eg ocean trench which is worth a visit. It felt like coming home and paradise"

"Clean, spacious, quiet and best value for the money I've been able to find around these parts. The stores are close, parking is easy and available. Nothing to complain about!"

It was a bit cold in the room even with the radiators turned all the way up, luckily there were two blankets so I still got a great night sleep!

"Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Kleines praktisches Zimmer mit kleinem Badezimmer(chen) zu einem angemessenen Preis. Bei Buchung wurde auf das kleine Badezimmer hingewiesen. Sehr bequemes Bett mit offenen Bettende und guter Matratze. Sehr ruhig. Frühstück mit verschiedener Wurst, Käse und Marmeladen und Gebäck. Vermieterin sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich."

Das kleine Badezimmer(chen) ist wirklich sehr klein. Ist aber kein Kritikpunkt, weil es wurde bei der Buchung schon drauf hingewiesen.

"We had a lovely, relaxing time at L'Hirondelle. The accommodation is beautiful, overlooking the lake. Watching the house martins dip and dive was wonderful. And a delicious breakfast was icing on the cake. Many thanks, David and Rosemary"

"It's a beautiful hotel 10 out of 10. So comfortable and pretty. Very clean and you can have a beautiful view of the Nile. I absolutely recommend this place. It's the best choice if you decide to stay in this hotel. And Hamo is sooo nice and thoughtful. An excellent good cook as well. The breakfast he made is so delicious!! Love this hotel ❤️❤️❤️❤️"

"It's a beautiful property- the room and facilities were great. The dinner was delicious and extremely generous- Rum and wine included as well. Breakfast had some nice continental options and I especially enjoyed the herb tea. The host was wonderful- I don't speak French but was very easy using google translate. She gave great instructions for arrival. She also looked after me as and made sure I got to the start of my hike safely- she asked another couple to drop me at the trail on their way to Marla after she realised I was going to walk up the windy mountain road! If you are getting a bus there is also a stop right outside- although take care to plan as the buses don't run frequently."

Kunde haft krokar med rums nr i badrummet. Ena sovrummet hade 80sängar. De var lite små om man är lång. Kunde haft tv/skärm med chromecast

"Modern, clean, self contained with bedrooms having on-suite bathrooms which also provided convenience and privacy. minimalistic though everything you expect from a hotel accommodation/apartment we had , elements from the spa were also included dressing, gowns and slippers, beach towels. The air conditioning throughout the rooms was great keeping us cool when relaxing in such a hot period of the year"

Everything was great, The only small suggestion would be to offer either thicker blankets or a cozy duvet for extra comfort for those who likes to sleep with the air conditioning but gets super cold easily 😅

"Det var så mysigt. Huset är ett vackert patricier hus som kändes så bra och välkomnande att komma in i. Fina, stora rum och fräscha välstädade badrum. Härligt kök som var mycket välutrustat och vår Familj samlades gärna runt matbordet. Vi fixade frukost själva men det var ändå väldigt generöst med olika kaffesorter, teeer, sylt etc.i köket. Och inte att förglömma, det är praktiskt att kunna promenera till Gamla stan! Och slutligen, Wi-Fi funkade utmärkt."

"Quiet location on Varkala's South Cliff with only 5 minute walk to the beach. We booked a room with outdoor patio and really enjoyed sitting out there in the evenings. The room was really spacious and beautifully decorated. Also loved the outdoor shower! The highlight is definitely the swimming pool, which can be enjoyed at all times of the day thanks to the shade from the trees. The landscaping has been so well thought out. It truly felt like a little bit of luxury staying here and we loved it!"
