Lyxtält i Marocko

"Great place to relax, enjoy nature, and unwind in an otherwise busy and urban focussed Uzbekistan trip. The camp offers a lot of activities for free, which makes you feel a guest rather than a walking wallet. The staff is kind and we met the nicest people of our trip here, around the campfire provided by the yurt camp. Lastly, the dog, Bingo, was a true hero that kept us safe from "dangerous" foxes and wild cows that roamed the forest around us"

If the Yurt would be equipped with warmer, more cosy lighting it would greatly benefit the atmosphere inside

"Jättefin natur, trevlig personal. Ägaren är supertrevlig och vi fick åka med på en båtutflykt som var väldigt trevlig. Skönt med en fin strand på plats, perfekt avstånd till Jurmala och Riga."

"Det var super fint, jacuzzi var varmt redan när vi kom fram i 40 grader vilket var så skönt för att det var rätt kyligt. Mini golf ingick i priset och t.o.m footballgolf. Det var bara 40-45min från flygplats. Lätt med check in och check out också. Vi kom en timme tidigare och domen var redan redo. Vi hade det så mysigt. Fick lite macaroons när hi kom. Och tofflor och badrockar inklusive!"

"My stay at Para un poquito was wonderful, the hosts Flor and Joel are very welcoming, nice and helpful in any situation, they know and love the place. The situation right on the beach is idyllic, you literally go out of your room and are on the beach. I'd definitely recommend this place."

"God mat och bra ordning på specialbeställningar. Trevlig kaffe- och teservering på eftermiddagen. Väldigt fin matplats. Vi åkte på en heldagssafari och fick med oss både frukost och lunch, båda mycket goda."

Vår toalett fungerade inte. Trots att vi informerade personalen var det ingen som lagade den/hjälpte oss byta tält. Vi fick själva göra en "quick-fix" varje gång vi ville spola. Tälten var ganska slitna och dragkedjor mm fungerade dåligt. Systemet med att vi skulle be om nya vattenflaskor fungerade dåligt, god tanke att använda glasflaskor men inga nya flaskor kom.

The water in the jacuzzi is warm but not hot, but it wasn’t bad and totally acceptable for being in the middle of nowhere.

"This place is incredible. We had elephants around the lodge every day and the safaris were outstanding. We managed to see 4 of the Big Five in just two nights, plus wild dogs, cheetahs, and much more. Absolutely recommended!"

"The location of the camp is amazing. The host/driver picked us up in Douz and drove around 120Km in the desert. The ride was crazy, if you have motion sickness, be prepared. The dinner in the camp was really really good, better than our expectation. The starry night was also stunning, we saw so many stars in the pitch black night. The hosts were also nice."

To be fair, both our driver and host doesn't really speak English, so communiation was kinda poor. To me the ride in the desert was a bit too much, I felt dizzy the whole day after. Lastly, the price was also quite high - one night for a camp 140 euro plus 140 euro for the desert ride which is not included in the booking price page.

"Amazing remote location but still easily accessible! Like a barefoot oasis where everything felt very personal and intimate. The rooms are stunning, facing the river. At night it felt like being one with nature. Will highly recommend to all my friends and family!"

"Everything from the transfer drive in the lodge 4x4 and boat hop to the island was first class. Our tented accommodation was superb. Loved the outside shower (there is an internal shower). The included game drives and river cruise were fantastic and our guides were friendly and informative. Hippos in the river close by, monkeys in the trees. You really feel you are in the bush. Food, superb. Service, superb. Full stocked mini bar. Seating area around the fire pit, amazing. I could go on all day with positives. Highly recommend 👌"

Having to leave

"A great place to stay, great beaches, pristine and clean. Close enough to the National park for us to make a few visits. Lovely helpful staff, could not be nicer. Well worth the journey there."

Being surrounded by the desert and having the freedom to walk through the dunes at any time truly makes this place special and unforgettable. The staff were exceptional in every way – always kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. They took care of everything and made us feel completely welcome and relaxed throughout our stay. The food was also outstanding – fresh, delicious, and beautifully prepared. We honestly cannot understand some of the negative comments regarding the food, as our experience was excellent in every aspect. If you are looking for tranquility, stunning desert scenery, and warm hospitality, this is the perfect place. We would return anytime!"

"Wauw wauw wauw! This little gem is absolutely amazing ! Beautiful eco location on the river in the middle of nature. Very spacious and luxury tents. Every one of the staff is super sweet and helpful. Highly recommend to stay here while visiting Koh Kong - Tatai."

"Tropical paradise. The resort is accessible only by boat and up against a national park with lots of lemurs. We were there for five days, four nights in a beachfront bungalow with private facilities. Sun lounges under coconut palms. Local seafood at the restaurant. Hardly any other guests. Affordable for budget travelers."

Ok, cold water showers, but hey.

"The staff were Really friendly and helpful,the food was delicious ,it’s situated on a Beautiful Beach Great chill out area upstairs,hammocks,Bar,a lot of lovely Nicaraguan people,What more could you want ?"

The thing about having points in access card to take shower, it’s not needed, people who are doing camping are nature friendly enough to do not waste water.

"The entire setup was gorgeous. Felt like a true camp. They added a lovely touch by providing big kettle in a common area which was on simmer heat with unlimited Jordanian tea. We opted for a dinner as well which was extra. Dinner buffet had a nice selection of salads and dips. They only offered one lamb, one chicken and one rice with potatoes dish. Lamb was delicious from a buffet standard. Chicken was too dry which was a shame as falvour was nice. Rice and potatoes were decent too. Only thing is they should include atleast water in buffet as standard. Lastly location seems be right on the edge of wadi rum dessert. It's about 40 mins drives from wadi rum village."

We had a buddle tent. It was modern and looks very elegant. However the floor of bubble tent was a bit dusty. I am not sure weather this was because of lack of cleaning or bubble tents are not perfectly sealed. Other than that our bathroom had no shower certain. So when one person took a shower entire bathroom got flooded. They did provide us with a floor wiper when we requested it. If they install a shower certain or shower glass, this bathroom would be perfect. Lastly we didn't get hot water. Apparently, you need to request the reception who then switch on the boiler. Given there are no phones inside the room, one has to go all the way to reception to get hot water turned on.
