"The room is clean and huge in size. Even the location is good for accessing shops and restaurant and not far from the center."

As I enter the room, there is a strong smell of smoke. They need to ensure that the room is properly ventilated so that the smoke odour doesn't linger. Additionally, they don't provide soap or shampoo in the bathroom. It can also be quite exhausting to stay in a hotel with steep stairs and no elevator.

"Amazing people are working there on reception and wellness Wellness is super, breakfast is good, dinner is ok (because one time we had bufet dinner which was super, while another evening we had dinner from menu which was not so tasty)"

Photos of the room while booking was different from the room which we got, so were a bit upset about it.

"All was lovely, the food was particularly good and a pleasant surprise after some of the restaurants we had eaten at on our trip. The cottage was great, the linen very good, the swimming pool a great asset."

We would have liked to have been given sandwiches with the tea at 4pm. Slight disappointment!

"Great location. Room has a nice view of the city. Easy self check-in process which they explain via videos they send on whatsapp. Communication with the staff via whatsapp was also easy and fast."

Rugged floors looked not too clean, there were a few hairs on the bed (which I don't care too much but could be an issue for some others)

"Lugn och fin miljö med en otroligt fin trädgård. Charmigt med en biergarten i trädgården där man kunde njuta av de ljumna kvällarna med en drink och lite mat. Mysigt med djur i anslutning till boendet."

Det borde funnits reserverade parkeringsplatser för hotellgäster då deras biergarten var väldigt populär även från de boende i byn. Så när man kommer tillbaka efter en dag i stan var det fullt och svårt att hitta parkeringsplats

"This is a small hotel in a superb location with colourful gardens and excellent views. The friendly and hard working staff were extremely helpful, and the owner Primus met us at the airport and drove us to the hotel, for a pre-arranged fee. This made our arrival so much easier and stress free. He also arranged car rental for us which was excellent value. There's a nice lounging area overlooking the bay, good for watching sunsets, and a refreshing pool. Home cooked food available lunch and dinner, as well as breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed a most memorable and relaxing stay."

"Mycket trevligt och hjälpsam personal, bra service, enkelt men genuint guesthouse. rent, bra centralt läge. Prisvärt. Extra plus för den lilla poolen och att man kan sitta ute."

Det är ett gammalt hus så lite lyhörd kan det vara om man har otur att ha grannar ovanför som går upp mitt i natten, men det är väl så det ska vara:)

"Nära till det mesta. Vi bodde i rum 21 högst upp vilket passade oss mycket bra. Tyst och lugnt förutom och alla bekvämligheter fanns på rummet förutom kyl. Gillade inredningen på hotellet och det kändes tryggt och säkert. Frukosten var mycket bra med bra utbud. All personal vi träffade var mycket sympatiska och gjorde verkligen sitt yttersta för att vår vistelse skulle vara så bra som möjligt."

Gillade allt Men har man problem med trappor så ska man inte bo på de övre våningarna

"Awesome host. I couldn’t believe the photos from the previous reviews but it’s true, all the photos you see are truly about a 10 step walk from the bedrooms. Simple, but incredible place to stay. The host will make sure you’re well looked after, help you with the tours/ self guided tours nearby and is very helpful with transport knowledge. We loved this place! I will say, if you’re vegan or veggie it’s hard to find food nearby, so maybe ask the host in advance if you can cook some simple food. They let us cook noodles ❤️❤️"

it was not really easy to find because there were no signs or something like this, but all the business next to her were nice and immediately recognized that we were searching the hotel and they helped us.

"Our booking was made very late and despite this we were so warmly welcomed. There was beautiful Cape Verdean music being played when we arrived by two incredible musicians which was lovely. And the breakfast in the morning was delicious. The fresh mango juice was particularly mouthwatering!"
