Groothöjder Lodge erbjuder stugor i sten som ligger på Etendekas bergskedjassluttning. Här bor du i rymliga rum med vidsträckt landskap. Det finns därtill en utomhuslagun. Anläggningen drivs av en organisation som syftar till att förbättra den lokala välfärden. Organisationen stöder projekt i området, förespråkar vikten av naturturism för lokalbefolkningen och skapar arbetstillfällen. Varje hotellrum på Grootbergsterräng Lodge har halmtak, afrikansk arrangemang och en möblerad träterrass med panoramavisuell flykt. I det privata badgästutrymmenmet finns en dusch med vacker vy över platån. Den rustika gastronomisk restaurangen är inredd med trämöbler och har stora fönster med perspektiv över platån. Det finns en bar på vistelseortet, och lunchpaket erbjuds. Här kan du boka olika turer, som naturvandringar för att söka efter elefant och noshörning, träffa Himba-stammen i sin naturliga miljö samt bilturer ner till floddalen Klip River Valley, dit djuren går för att dricka. Vandring och ridning finns likaså.

"The location is amazing. The view over the valley is a highlight of our trip. The way up to the property is a bit challenging, but was worth experiencing yourself. The staff was so friendly, they even gave a surprise singing performance. The food was a menu with local game, that was cooked straight on point. Compliments to the chef! Best game steak we had in Namibia!"

"The pool was cold, it was more a cold plunge! The rhino safari was very long + 10hours, it takes you 2 hours of driving before reaching the start of the game drive, and we didn’t see rhino.. it was also pricey for the experience in my opinion! Also the ride was extremely bumpy (not recommended for old people)"
