"The staff certainly know how to look after guests in this historic building. Breakfast is also included in the price and was good with an assortment of fresh fruit. There is a secure roof top veranda at the property (see image attached) and there are local supermarkets nearby. In addition, the River Paraguay is only a five-minute walk. Would highly recommend (and I certainly don't give high scores out willy nilly)"

"Returning for a third stay in the same room within six weeks. The perfect service offered by Cirilo, Alberto and Damian of the reception desk. The spacious room on the third floor with easy access to the communal rooftop terrace, perfect for having a beer (or two) while watching the sun go down. I had the rooftop terrace all to myself every time. The very good breakfast with scrambled eggs made to order and up to five different kinds of fruits."

"This is a lovely building with a faintly colonial feel. The facilities were good. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Fresh towels supplied daily and plenty of soap and shampoos. Staff were helpful and welcoming.."
"Locationwas in the old town and area had a rundown feel to it. Also we were there over Halloween weekend and unfortunately the elderly glazing didn't contain the noise of a party going on all night in a nearby building."
"Centrally located in a former city palace, one block from where city buses 30-2 and 30-5 from the airport would drop you off; large double room on the third floor; elevator; lovely communal rooftop terrace on the third floor, ideal for enjoying the views and a drink while watching the sun set; drinks can be bought at the reception desk; the breakfast buffet includes scrambled eggs, fresh fruit juices, various patries and up to five different fresh fruits; impeccable service by receptionists Cirilo, Alberto and Damian. This was my second stay. I was happy to be there again."
