"Erg vriendelijk personeel. De luxe kamer was prima. In de badkamer lekte de afvoer maar gaf verder geen hinder. Eten in het restaurant is prima, het ontbijt kan wat verser en minder water bij de sappen. Er is een mooi groot zwembad. Achter het terrein is een super mooie tuin. In de enorme vijver stond nu geen water. De locatie is een aanrader. Wij komen zeker terug."

"Lo mejor es la calidez con la que le reciben a uno. Excelente atención de toda la gente del hotel, fuimos recibidos como en nuestra casa. El hotel se acomoda a las necesidades de los huéspedes. Algunos días necesitamos desayunar mas temprano que la hora normal del desayuno, y nos sirvieron muy amablemente. Las habitaciones confort son muy cómodas, con todas las necesidades para pasar 10 puntos."

"Had a large apartment suite next to the hotel entrance with kitchen and living room. It was comfortable, but it was more than we needed! Great value! Breakfasts were nice. Wi-Fi signal good. Lots of restaurants and bars within 10 minutes walk. We felt safe in the area! Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. They willingly helped with confirming onward bus travel and helped set up a Bolt account for me to order taxis. (Bolt taxis are cheap and plentiful, and are the best way to get around Asuncion)"

"We stayed at Rio Hotel during our trip to Ciudad del Este and found the location perfect — close to all the major stores and malls. The hotel offers parking, which is a big plus in the area. Breakfast was good, and the on-site restaurant is a convenient option for dinner. If you feel like exploring, there are also several interesting restaurants nearby, including some Taiwanese and a very nice Korean place. The rooms were clean and reasonably sized. We were traveling with our young daughter, and the hotel was very accommodating — the first time they provided a little bed with a mattress for her, and the next time even a crib. She had a great time! We enjoyed our stay so much that we already came back for a second visit — and everything was just as good the second time around!"

"Located five minutes from the Jesuit ruins, the Posada Maria is a good base for exploring the region. The hotel is very clean and modern and has everything you need for a short stay. The pool is great to cool off on the warm summer days and the breakfast is amazing, a true continental one with delicious bread (hard to come by in South America) and a good variation of products. We had dinner here as well, which was super good as well. German kitchen, but refreshing after our month travelling around! Staff is very kind and friendly and can give tips and advice! When the rain started dripping through the roof into our room, we immediately got another one. Very smooth!"

"Great staff - very polite and accommodating. Stylish and relatively new hotel with good breakfast. Lots nearby / convenient location. We had to check in well after midnight due to flights and the front desk staff were there (seems like it's staffed 24/7). Picked up dinner a few times from the restaurant and the sandwiches were really good. Would stay again."
