Resorter i Saint-Barthélemy

"För att uppleva traditionell turistsemester nära till stranden,bekväma rum,god mat serverad 4 gånger om dagen,fri tillgång till alkolfria och alkoholhaltiga drycker,fin utsikt från stranden -då är du helt rätt. Hundar och katter går omkring i reporter vilket är trevlig pluspoäng-ger myskänsla mitt i turistresorten."

Jag var nöjd med stället.

"En fantastiskt fin anläggning. Det är högsta klass på allt. Alltifrån faciliteter, till frukosten. Vi var bara på genomresa och då funkar det att man bor vid en golfanläggning någon kilometer från motorvägen. För den som ska spela golf är det såklart helrätt, men ska man turista ett par dagar i Riga eller Jurmala bör man välja något som ligger inne i dessa städer."

- food wasn't cheap, menu was limited - beach in front of hotel was dirty and birdpoop - no possibility to board a (rented) jetski in front of the hotel - no guarded parking for the cars - 5 minutes walk and no vallet possible - breakfast buffet seems big but not that much variety day over day - it's always the same it seems

"The hotel was exceptional from arriving to leaving. The little touches make it extra special like free mini bar, little gifts in your room every evening, water hampers on the beach. The beach is amazing, all rooms have perfect views. Staff are very attentive. Breakfast has the best choices, one of the best I have had. Michelin star restaurant is fabulous would definitely recommend."

The room was nice, but ours was a little tired. I also didn’t care for the lack of monitoring of the pool lounges,(lack of them, and people being allowed to put a towel on to reserve for the day without being there).

Restaurant waiters are useless, slow, just talking to each other. . Even if you are a guest at hotel they want you to pay for the huts. Hotel guests should get at least a free hour daily. There is no real beach seating for hotel guests to relax.

They brought meals in from outside restaurants. Instead of 2 tiny water bottles per day they provided a 20 litre water dispenser. The pool overlooked the black pebbly beach. The surrounding area was not overwhelmed by tourists and the locals were 1980's friendly."

We didn't like leaving.

Bollar inte tillåtna vid poolen men rökning ok. Förra året bodde vi vid Maistra i Rovinj och de hade ännu mer aktiviter för barnen

"Loved this hotel! It's about a 25 minute golf cart ride from the centre of the island so it's a little way out but it's quiet and peaceful. Just dusty because the road is unpaved at the moment. The staff were incredible, everyone super friendly, professional and helpful. It was a windy few days for us so we couldn't get to use the beach much but another 20 minutes on is Secret Beach so we would go there instead. The pool here is great, plenty of loungers and space for everyone to relax. The rooms were clean, beds comfy and shower powerful!! Brilliant value for money and we even got a free upgrade. Would definitely stay here again but you definitely need to hire a golf cart to get around the island. Perfect for if you want to get out the real hum of the island but there are still plenty of food places nearby."

Vissa träningsredskap var ur funktion, Då det blev fler gäster i matsalen blev ljudnivån lite hög.

Vi hade bokat för tre vuxna men ändå var det en bebissäng som jag behövde säga till om några gånger innan den var borta. Detta är smådetaljer men att det inte var förberett för tre vuxna gällande handdukar, duschtvål etc samt gällande kaffe och te, glas och kaffekoppar på rummet. Det borde också fylla på när kaffet tex tar slut. Slarvigt gällande påfyllning och städning. Inte att det var smutsigt, utan att glömde tömma sopkorgen, att det fanns tillräckligt med handdukar för tre. Jag fick säga till varje dag angående någonting. Bara onödig energi. Annars var all personalen fantastisk. De var till mötesgående på alla sätt från restaurangerna till städpersonal.

Rooms a bit small, 2 small elevators for all the people take some time. There is an huge amount of food but i for exampme dont eat meat, there is 10 diferent meat plates and only 1 fish option.

Too big. Very noisy at breakfast. Only Asian breakfast options. Expensive restaurants. Don’t go to Thai restaurant in hotel. Really bad taste and nothing to do with Thai style
