"Nice and special spacious rooms. A real holiday resort with everything you need or don’t need"

Too big. Very noisy at breakfast. Only Asian breakfast options. Expensive restaurants. Don’t go to Thai restaurant in hotel. Really bad taste and nothing to do with Thai style

Allt var jättebra men vi hade ingen bil och var beroende av kollektivtrafiken som var lite lurig att lära sig. Om vi reser igen skulle vi nog ha bil vid vila bicuda då det ligger lite utanför Cascais.

Om man ska påpeka detaljer, så kunde det ha funnits fler krokar i rummet att hänga t.ex. badkläder på.

Skulle varit bra om dem hade något ställe med lättare middag att äta då man inte alltid ville ha någon större måltid.

The sea has moved in so much over the years that there really is no place to sunbathe on the beach by the hotel. You can walk further down the beach - given space limited sun beds on the decking area.

"I took a group of men to Cape Verde for the 1st time. The hotel is a perfect location for almost everything we did. The staff were very helpful as well"

It was not easy to get service on the tables near the beach. The sun beds did not have cushions so were uncomfortable to lay on.

Cold cuts were pork only. Was missing turkey ham or beef salami.

"The villa had great privacy, beautiful landscaping, a good layout for our group. It was well-equipped with essentials for cooking/serving. The salt pool was perfect for cooling off after a hike. It was just big enough and always seemed to be at the right temperature. We were delighted by fireflies, tree frogs, bats, local birds, and even a shy ginger cat that wandered past once or twice."

THE ROAD- while we expected a rough access road from reading previous reviews, the construction during our stay detoured us through the banana plantation over an intolerably (for anyone with neck/back problems) rough track that was 4x longer. While the ocean (not a swimming beach) is close enough to hear, there is not much view. It is a peek from one corner of the pool deck, and the upper bedroom. But again, wonderful privacy. Also of note- there are no bug screens on the windows. It was perhaps an assumption on our part with the newer construction, but the mosquitoes did cause some distress, especially for one member of our group. Bring bug spray, After-Bite (anti-itch), and Benadryl if you are prone to reactions.

"Loved this hotel! It's about a 25 minute golf cart ride from the centre of the island so it's a little way out but it's quiet and peaceful. Just dusty because the road is unpaved at the moment. The staff were incredible, everyone super friendly, professional and helpful. It was a windy few days for us so we couldn't get to use the beach much but another 20 minutes on is Secret Beach so we would go there instead. The pool here is great, plenty of loungers and space for everyone to relax. The rooms were clean, beds comfy and shower powerful!! Brilliant value for money and we even got a free upgrade. Would definitely stay here again but you definitely need to hire a golf cart to get around the island. Perfect for if you want to get out the real hum of the island but there are still plenty of food places nearby."

주변에 식당이없다보니 골드카드로 갔는데 식사를 그나마 괜찮은건 마젤란이었는데 3박동안 가려니 너무 질리더라구요 사이판pic처럼 좀더 다양한 레스토랑이 있었으면 좋겠어요

"En fantastiskt fin anläggning. Det är högsta klass på allt. Alltifrån faciliteter, till frukosten. Vi var bara på genomresa och då funkar det att man bor vid en golfanläggning någon kilometer från motorvägen. För den som ska spela golf är det såklart helrätt, men ska man turista ett par dagar i Riga eller Jurmala bör man välja något som ligger inne i dessa städer."

Only the lack of internet. There are no connexion even with data. So it can be frustrating when connexion is needed (to check flight for exemple)

The location is beautifully quiet and serene, away from the hustle of the city. Surrounded by nature and heritage charm, it felt like a perfect peaceful escape. We truly enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend Ramgarh Lodge to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay."

Restaurangen tillfredsställande, menyer svåra att förstå och betjäningen kunde förbättras. Platsen kräver underhåll o där brister det i viss mån. Bl.a ruttnade träbroar och träväggar vid amfiteatern.
