"Läget och den hjälpsamma trevliga personalen. Kände sig riktigt välkommen. Bra att man fick glasflaskor som man kunde återanvända och fylla på med kallt vatten, miljötänk. Positivt med trägolv istället för heltäckningsmatta."

"Lite störande med ljud utifrån, lite dåligt isolerat. Fräscht badrum men lite dumt att allt blir blött när man duschar."

"Fantastiskt läge! Mycket trevlig personal som gav oss många användbara tips. Matmarknaderna Maxwell och chinatown complex foodcentre låg mycket nära och var en otrolig upplevelse och givetvis mycket god mat!"

"Rummet uppgavs vara 25 kvm. Det var i verkligheten inte alls stort, kanske 1 meter till godo på ena sidan sängen och den andra sidan stod intill väggen. Det var dock en väldigt lång och bred hall men den kunde man ju inte använda till något. Ingen stans att öppna upp två väskor förutom precis innanför dörren. Så lite besvikna över att det vi förväntade oss vara ett rymligt rum i stället upplevdes trång!!"

"Peaceful and comfortable. Pleasant and helpful staff. Glass water bottles in room and a water dispenser on the ground floor. Fridge and kettle in room. Good location in Chinatown. Nice breakfast at The Social Space around the corner. Fun Kora BBQ Don Dae Bak Restaurant in parallel street."

"The location was excellent being situated in a nice area with easy access to delicious cheap eats as well as finer dining and bars and just a short walk to MRT stations in either direction. The room was clean, quiet, comfortable and we were provided empty bottles that we could refill with clean drinking water on the ground floor which was nice. We would happily stay here again next time we visit, great value for money!"

"Amazing location just over 5 mins walk from the station and walking distance to many sights and different Hawker centres. Rooms were nice and clean. Size was ok, not really large but comfortable. WiFi worked well"

"The location is excellent, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the pleasant fragrance throughout the property makes you feel instantly relaxed. The sun-kissed brewed coffee is also exceptionally good!"

"The sound insulation of the windows and floor could be better. During bedtime, noise from the restaurant downstairs and the garbage trucks at midnight could be heard, and around dawn, the sounds from the nearby Indian temple’s ceremony were also noticeable. It would be perfect if this aspect could be improved."

"We are here with senior citizens and kids (9, 8, 6, and 5 years old), all 8 pax. The location is in the middle of the city. Easy to move, 10 minutes' walk from Jalan Besar MRT. It's a 15-20 minute walk to the Bugis area. The room is quite big compared to other rooms; as Muslims, we have an area to pray. We chose a connecting room because we have kids to monitor all the time. Thank you to the staff for giving us an extra access card as we requested, because the 2 connecting rooms are not on the same level. The staff helps us when there are problems with the TV and remote."

"Cecilia the lady at the reception she so helpful and kind. I like this place cause quiet in the night but safe to walk and don't have to go upper floor. Aircon is never turn off good to sleep long. Walking distance have big supermarket food court and mall with many food shop open late near to Mrt. lavender Only one thing not convenient that have only 2 toilets and 2 shower rooms which have to wait in the morning."

"Near to Haji Kadir Restaurant (delicious sup tulang merah & murtabak Singapore). There is a reception staff who is a Malaysian from Penang who is very cheerful and helpful even when i asked a lot of questions abt the area, she was always ready to help. We also managed to walk to Mustafa Centre and it's really convenient as it opens until 2am."

"21 Carpenter was my very first landing place after arriving in Singapore, and it could not have been more perfect. There was a gentle scent of coconut trees lingering in the air, and the natural ventilation throughout the building was thoughtfully designed. Even in the tropical heat, a soft breeze seemed to wrap around you like a quiet welcome. Under the slow rhythm of the ceiling fan, sleep came easily and peacefully. 🌿 The complimentary water was surprisingly delicious, clearly chosen with care. The body lotion and soap also had a distinctive fragrance that made the stay feel a little more special, a small detail that lingered in memory. If I return to Singapore again, I know I will choose to stay here once more."
