"It was truly one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. The golden grass, surrounding mountains, and horses created such a picturesque and peaceful atmosphere — it felt like paradise. The house itself is small but very cozy and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The host was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would love to come back!"

"Our stay at Aura was a truly 10/10 stay. This is the most beautiful cabin in the Icelandic Wildnerness were you can go for complete and utter escape from everything. The facility is well equipped and has lovely luxurious extras such as a sauna and hot tub. We loved the decor; very cool Scandi and the bed was incredibly comfy. Our favourite bit was to relax in the hot tub after a day of sightseeing and we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights from our hot tub. Couldn’t rate this place highly enough and would recommend it to anyone."

Very very little to complain about. Our only request in future would be for more towels as we only had 1 each which meant using it for both hot tub and showering.

"The apartment is very nice, very clean and well equipped, with good bathroom facilities. The electric water-heater was slightly noisy at times and there is a step from the living room to the hallway that can be sneaky. Other than that, we were very satisfied and would recommend the place! 😃"

Nowhere to dry towels. A heated towel rail would have been useful but it didn't detract from the beautiful property and surroundings.
