"I tried a hostel for the first time and honestly, it couldn’t have been better. I went in a little sceptical, but a close friend strongly recommended this place—and it completely lived up to (and surpassed) my expectations. The property itself is stunning, perfectly located (a walkable radius from most important landmarks), with a rooftop view that’s hard to beat. But what really made the experience was the vibe—there’s such a natural sense of community here that just pulls you in. What I loved and will miss the most were the owners and staff, who are easily some of the warmest, most genuine people I met on this trip. Somehow managed to feel like I’d known them for ages by the time I left. Left with a full heart and would 100% want to stay here again."

"Fantomet att det inte låg i Tena var jättebra, det var ganska tyst och väldigt fint runtomkring. Våra rum var väldigt enkla men väldigt bra städade och alla faciliteterna med. Kommer definitivt stanna där en annan gång"

Inget dåligt egentligen mer än myggnätet som fanns vid fönstret vad lite sönder och hade lite småhål, och att det inte fanns någon AC/TV. Kan ha varit för att vi bokade de enklaste rummen. Men annars var allt bra!

"Fantastiskt ställe. Anlände runt midnatt men det var inga som helst problem då perosnalen var på plats fram till sent. Köket var fräscht och hade allt man behövde. Trevliga sociala ytor fanns tillgängliga och väldigt mycket att se och upptäcka i området. Ledsamt att efter 2 nätter behöva checka ut och åka vidare. Kommer garanterat rekommendera och återvända."

The noise from the street is unbelievable. Too much irritating all the time.

"Personalen är jätte bra och väldigt trevliga. Hotellet är väldigt städat och rent och toaletterna ser bra ut. Internet är också bra till skillnad från andra Hotel jag har varit på o Medina."

Fanns lite myror lite över allt men inget ofarligt så men kan vara bra att få bort de, jag hade inga problem med de men kan tänka mig att andra kan ha det.

"The hostel was pretty clean. The staff at the reception were friendly, helpful, and patient. They have a lot of knowledge about tourism in Bagan and were always happy to give advice or answer questions. It was also very convenient that they can help you book buses directly at the hostel, and that you can rent e-bikes. Another big plus is the atmosphere. The hostel is social, but not in an overwhelming way. It’s not loud or pushy. There are great opportunities to connect with other travelers if you want, but you can also just sit by the pool and enjoy some quiet time. I think this place is perfect both for people looking for peace and quiet and for those who want to meet others."

There wasn’t much to complain about. The only small improvement I can think of would be adding curtains to the beds, which would give a bit more privacy.

"Friendly staff. Clean comfortable bed. Everything worked. Shortage cutlery kitchen..probably travellers pinching it! There did not seem to be any security lockers."

"Welcoming host, good condition of the rooms and bathroom. It felt safe to walk around in the Neighbourhood (during daytime), people seemed friendly and interested. Note that it is not a touristy area, what makes the experience of visiting Praia more authentic."

Rummen är lite tråkiga men för priset tycker jag absolut att det är värt det!! Fanns däremot inget fönster i mitt rum.

"Värden var trevlig och hjälpte oss mycket. Rummen och sängarna var bra. Hela hotellet var rent och fräscht!"

Vattnet i en av duscharna var kallt och det var lite svårt med få nycklar med ett stort sällskap.

"Det var mysigt, i ett gammalt byggnad i centrum, dörrarna med gamla nycklar. Trevlig personal som är beredd att hjälpa till. Välutrustat kök. Väldigt tyst. Flera kafeer, en av dem är en trappa ner. Ett stort rum för fyra personer. Det finns ett skåp att låsa sina grejer i, låset krävs dock att ta med. Kaffe, te finns i köket tillgängligt. Ok ställe att sova över, prisvärt."

Jag saknade en hylla nära sängen att lägga glasögon på och en mobiltelefon. Det saknas också belysning för varje säng. Annars är jag inte så petig, hostel är hostel.

Ingen krok att hänga kläder eller liten hylla för tex glasögon när man skulle sova. Det finns utvecklingspotential för sånt:)0

"We stayed in the private apartment a few blocks from La Comarca Hostel. It has everything you need - comfy double bed, an en suite with large shower, and a well equipped little kitchen with a stove, toaster, kettle. The whole vibe was very stylish, modern and clean. All the staff were lovely!! I said it was my partners birthday before arrival and they had put up balloons and little treats for us! Although we didn’t stay in the main hostel, it had a warm vibe when we dropped by and we were allowed to leave our bikes down the side of the hostel for a few nights while hiking. Overall, highly recommend!"
