"Allt var av hög klass, mycket bra service, mycket hög nivå på maten."

Det som möjligen skulle kunna förbättras är snabbheten och till viss del nogrannheten i servicen.

"The view from our room, any room in fact, looked out over the crashing waves that rolled in from the Indian Ocean. Biggest room weve had in Bali.The staff were ready to look after our every whim. They brought meals in from outside restaurants. Instead of 2 tiny water bottles per day they provided a 20 litre water dispenser. The pool overlooked the black pebbly beach. The surrounding area was not overwhelmed by tourists and the locals were 1980's friendly."

"- heated pool with multiple sections and even a "beach" - free big towels for the pool - food in restaurant was good - activities (peddle/pingpong/katamaran/...) for free - fireplace with movie including free popcorn, marshmellows and emoliente - super big room"

- food wasn't cheap, menu was limited - beach in front of hotel was dirty and birdpoop - no possibility to board a (rented) jetski in front of the hotel - no guarded parking for the cars - 5 minutes walk and no vallet possible - breakfast buffet seems big but not that much variety day over day - it's always the same it seems

"I took a group of men to Cape Verde for the 1st time. The hotel is a perfect location for almost everything we did. The staff were very helpful as well"

"The beachfront location. Hotel staff are all very nice."

Restaurant waiters are useless, slow, just talking to each other. . Even if you are a guest at hotel they want you to pay for the huts. Hotel guests should get at least a free hour daily. There is no real beach seating for hotel guests to relax.

"I love this family friendly vibe! There is a pool for kids, adults with swim up bar and another quieter relax pool for adults only. The shows were good- the circus show and the fire show were my favorites. Everyone from the front desk to servers to housekeeping were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent, you have a choice in the evening between the buffet and restaurants."

It took us a few days to figure out what was happening at the resort as our Spanish was so limited.

"It was old fashioned in a lovely sort of way. Rooms were private and the grounds are lovely. Huge pool!"

I liked everything, the only recommendation is more variety of food for breakfast. 4 days in a raw all dishes for breakfast were the same.

Auch das Bad war sehr geräumig und hochwertig gestaltet. Über die Terrasse mit eigenem Strandkorb hatte man einen wunderbaren Blick Richtung Bodden – perfekt, um abends den Tag ausklingen zu lassen"

Das Zimmer ließ sich trotz der Verdunkelungsmöglichkeiten nur bedingt abdunkeln, da durch die Milchglastür früh Tageslicht hereinkam. Bei der Ankunft war es zudem recht staubig, was etwas den ersten Eindruck trübte. Außerdem war der Kaffeeweißer aufgrund der hohen Luftfeuchtigkeit auf der Insel hart geworden.

The breakfest is great, they have also a private beach the pool was clean and all the area was clean the room was good too

"The hotel was exceptional from arriving to leaving. The little touches make it extra special like free mini bar, little gifts in your room every evening, water hampers on the beach. The beach is amazing, all rooms have perfect views. Staff are very attentive. Breakfast has the best choices, one of the best I have had. Michelin star restaurant is fabulous would definitely recommend."

Rooms very expensive but definitely worth a visit

"The food was great, as was the service in the restaurant and at the pool. The facilities such as the pools were lovely, and good options for dining, including a nice little deli. Many of the staff were very helpful."

The room was nice, but ours was a little tired. I also didn’t care for the lack of monitoring of the pool lounges,(lack of them, and people being allowed to put a towel on to reserve for the day without being there).

"The location is right in the heart of Georgetown, within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions. The accommodation is beautifully designed,easily the best I’ve seen in Penang. The staff were incredibly friendly and always made sure we were well taken care of."

If I were to nitpick, the dinner menu could be a bit more interesting. Other than that, everything was great.

"This motel was a wonderful surprise! The location is excellent, and the entire place is exceptionally clean. The room design is elegant and tasteful, creating a calm and comfortable atmosphere. Everything felt very well cared for, and the cleanliness really stood out. Highly recommended!"

If I had to mention one small area for improvement, it would be the layout — the bed is a bit close to the entrance door, which made the space feel slightly tight at times.

If butter is served cold and honey is included, then it will become better.

"Otroligt bra läge 20 minuter från Victoria och ca 45 min från flygplatsen, och några minuter från den tjusiga stranden Beau Vallon. Fantastiskt rum med bra storlek och ett rejält badrum, och alla saker man kan tänkas behöva i ett rum. Personalen är mycket trevliga och serviceminded. Frukosten är mycket, mycket bra. Bra utbud och fräsch buffé. Vi hade halvpension och de 2 restuarangerna som ingick i paketet var båda mycket bra med spännande menyer. En bra gratis bus till Victoria/Beau Vallon tur 1 gång om dagen."

"I have never been to a Taj before, so I have nothing to compare it to. The lobby is impressive and the location with direct access to the beach is great. The staff is lovely and the housekeeping do so much for you, Saudtha I believe, checked on us regularly and brought us more water or towels."

When a twin is converted into a double room, one of the guests end up without space to put their things and the light switches are at the wrong place.

"From arriving up to leaving, it was perfect! The rooms are comfortable and clean. Stuff is always doing the best service, from the reception over the cleaning staff to the restaurant! Even there was a animation for kids at the pool what our son really enjoyed. The Chef cooking delicious meals and sharing some special tip to make your food better! The waiters have done always a great job , Jonathan was always having some jokes to made us laugh. Cleaning staff always was respecting your privacy and when told them come back at time they was at the point! At the point a perfect stay what I can just recommend."

"Just generally one of those special places that will stick in my memory forever. A collection of pretty little cabins by the beach surrounded by palm trees with hammocks slung between them for whiling away the days. With only the sounds of birds and waves. Where everyone just hangs out and chats, the staff, the other guests, the extremely interesting and gregarious owner Gregory (no pun intended). I could spend a week here just forgetting about the outside world. The various arrangements (airport transfer, transfer back to town, activities) all went smoothly as well. Which is my no means guaranteed in this part of the world."

Not much but if I went again I'd maybe pay a little more for the room with ensuite shower rather than sharing a communal shower with non locking door. Obviously this is budget accommodation in West Africa so it's of the rustic eco lodge variety rather than the western style hotel room variety in case anyone is expecting that.

"Facilities and Location were good. Concierge team always helping with luggage and always opening the door for me. Housekeeping very friendly, always smiling and saying Hi. Late check- out was nice."

Front desk could be more friendly. Feel they were always very busy.

"Great snorkelling around the over water bungalows, lots of turtles feeding on the seagrass. Beautiful location, so relaxing. Beach access bungalows are very nice, newly renovated, comfy bed. Pool was awesome. Appreciated the sea bird conservation in the island. I actually loved the sounds of the Puffin de Pacifique birds at night - I thought it was a child crying at first lol… bungalows have earplugs, luckily! Complimentary buffet breakfast was good. Got a generous late check out, service was really good from the boat to the front desk to the restaurant and bar. Everyone speaks a very high level of English, not sure where the negative comments about staff come from - they were the best I experienced in NC by far."

It’s an expensive buffet dinner (around $80aud) but the choices were really good, esp the fresh seafood and all the desserts. It’s just not worth it if you don’t eat huge dinners. Order à la carte options instead, but nice to try the buffet just once. Consider BYO noodles and alcohol if you want to save money, buying food and drinks from the restaurant and bar adds up quick. Would have been good to be able to lock/unlock the back beach access door from outside with a key.

Our room was cold, Maintenance came to sort it out but he didn't really know much about the thermostat, said he sorted it and it won't take long to heat uo, but never did, wasn't ideal with a little baby, said baby was asleep by time we realised it wasn't heating up. A small blemish on what was otherwise a really nice stay.

"Ett jättefint boende strax utanför Cascais. Barnen älskade poolen och miljön med café och butik. Rent och fräsch och sköna sängar. Toppklass!"

Allt var jättebra men vi hade ingen bil och var beroende av kollektivtrafiken som var lite lurig att lära sig. Om vi reser igen skulle vi nog ha bil vid vila bicuda då det ligger lite utanför Cascais.

"The apartments are located in a beautiful area, offering a peaceful atmosphere and views of the greenery surrounding the entire valley. The apartments are clean and functional, with internet access at satisfactory speed. This is a good choice for a relaxing stay. Nearby the SPA, there are a few walking trails, and for those seeking more, Velika planina is close by. The breakfast is satisfactory, and the staff was friendly and accommodating."

The pools are modest compared to other spa resorts, but a new complex is currently under construction.

"Loved this hotel! It's about a 25 minute golf cart ride from the centre of the island so it's a little way out but it's quiet and peaceful. Just dusty because the road is unpaved at the moment. The staff were incredible, everyone super friendly, professional and helpful. It was a windy few days for us so we couldn't get to use the beach much but another 20 minutes on is Secret Beach so we would go there instead. The pool here is great, plenty of loungers and space for everyone to relax. The rooms were clean, beds comfy and shower powerful!! Brilliant value for money and we even got a free upgrade. Would definitely stay here again but you definitely need to hire a golf cart to get around the island. Perfect for if you want to get out the real hum of the island but there are still plenty of food places nearby."
